Hello ! I want to buy me some of them panfish magnets kits . I have a catch the fever precision cast crappie 6’6” medium light 1-pc spinning rod . What size and name spinning reel and what size and name and color fishing line you would recommend me to buy and used for catching fish with the spinning rod that I have please. May the Lord be in your heart today to answer all of my questions and may the Lord continue to bless you and your family and your RU-vid channel in 2024 please 🙏
It's all personal preference and budget. Just experiment with different series reels and line and you will get it dialed in for your fishing style. Thanks for watching! 👊🎣
I just bought the Leland Trout Magnets. I'm hitting a small creek with some deep holes that is stocked from the over flow of a state park lake. small lake and a small stream until you get down it about 8 miles then it widens out but it's also polluted down there. One village just got a sewage treatment plant 10 years ago. They were dumping raw sewage into the creek since the town was built. Finally no more but that is way down stream from where I go. I'm almost at the lake on my sisters property that the creek runs through. Beautiful stream.
What can I do if the plastic line stop on the front of the line pickup cap goes bad and starts cracking? Sections of the ring on mine have cracked and fallen off. Would an o ring of similar thickness amd diameter glued to the cap face work?
Just ran across your video nice job showing how well the panfish plastics work I'll have to try those. I didn't see a swivel in your setup, do you have any problem with line twist. Nice video i just hit subscribe
One thing you might want to add is when you're putting the silver line cover on before putting the final cover back on the front, handle by the outer edge, because I had my hand on the plastic ring on the cover & it broke off on me. Evidently over time the plastic ring gets brittle. I think your video was very helpful though.
Great vid my man. I don’t have all of the tools at my disposal that you do so I just made a poor man’s anchor. A coffee can filled with cement lol. Tight lines brother!
I just picked up this combo on clearance from Walmart. I'm impressed, esp for what I paid. I have a Mach 1, Mach Smash, Laser TSX heavy and this. Tomorrow is my first trip on the water with it. Pretty sure it will perform close to the Smash. The Mach 1 and TSX are in a different category but highly enjoyable.
Panfish Magnets cast better with lighter line preferably 2lb maybe 4lb nothing past 4lb if you wanna make longer cast. Also I use an Ultralight Rod to whip this small bait pretty far. Caught a 4lb bass on 2lb line using Panfish Magnets. These lures catch everything that swims.
Nice vid man! Do you know the function of the yellow circle plastic under the black button? I have this reel, but its very old and this plastic cracked in pieces at the moment i opened it THANKS A LOT !
Bro no way that is my lake and we found a rod with the same reel I know you are using and it was back behind some condo's so if you lost your rod I might have but man that is crazy lol This is the rod quantum torsion im6 rod I am like freaking out rn lol It looks like the one on your Instagram
I am watching this because I found this rod with the reel the rod was kinda behind our house which is a lake and it was mostly dried is we just went down there and found this rod with that reel so yeah clean it all off and it still works after being in water and mud for awhile idk how long but a while for sure The Rod quantum torsion im6 rod
Hey Bud, those crappie you were catching were Black Crappie, White Crappie have vertical lines top to bottom, the ones you were pullin didn't have vertical lines, just black spots. Don't take my word for it, look um up. :]
If you have trouble casting light lures/baits adding a weighted foam bobber can give you the boost you need to get the line a bit further out. I fish a Zebco 33 gold for both panfish and trout with either of these set ups ( The panfish magnet and trout magnet) and a foam 1” weighted bobber and absolutely kill with it. Just remember to let it just dead drift/float
I’d say that’s WAAAAAAY more important than fiddling with the bail. He ignored the most important part of cleaning a reel. Watch 2nd chance tackle for better cleaning videos. He may not have this exact reel in his library, but they’re pretty much all the same.
Budget rod & reel combo, Made In China. Having said that, the Lew's Xfinity is of very good quality. I own 4 of these and use them in freshwater as well as saltwater. They surprisingly hold up very well to salt, with no corrosion after several years of use. I clean and oil them regularly, which is a must. I am very pleased with Lew's, good choice.
I concur, it casts quite a bit better than the Ozark trails otx pro(my 1st baitcaster). Just got given a new pascifun torrent. So I have 3 now. Hope it cast as well as the lews
Or strap it to a piece of starfoam and a couple of balloons so it doesn't sink and plus if you are in a kayak or boat and the balloons will let the wind move it plus keep it from sinking
