Thank you for the instructions and the sequence of actions when replacing a new terminator. I installed the flash mount and I have a very big problem with disconnecting the power cord extension. Is there a solution for this, because this connection is absolutely the worst I have ever encountered.
The wind is the crazy part. I'm in Santa Barbara and years ago awards were given out to architects and homeowners who built these super high-tech fire resistant homes. Then one day some dudes maintaining the trail with weedeaters and metal blades caused a spark that they were not aware of. The winds started to blow at 70 mph the humidity was down around 5% and the temperature was over 100° F. My house, everything I owned, and those fancy "fire resilient" homes were all burned flat in a matter of hours. we had aluminum Work sheds that turned into pools of molten metal. There is just nothing you can do when the wind blows that hard and a fire gets started.
@@rhondaqualls2954 yes they most absolutely do melt metal like that. I lost my home in Santa Barbara and everything I owned. We have pools of melted metal and 20 feet away my camper is in perfectly fine condition unscathed. You should really do some homework..
"The Soul of the Sea" We do not have to rely on memories to recapture the spirit of what we have loved and lost. Everything lives within our souls in some perfect sanctuary which even death and destruction cannot destroy. The Soul of the Sea will prevail once again.
Been killing the walleyes and smallies ling line trolling the shallows with mini crankbaits but now the water level is crazy high and i cant find em anymore!
Never liked the idea of using shorter rods in the rear just for the sake of avoiding tangles. That's why you set them at different angles. There's far more benefit in my mind to have all the same length trolling rods as to be able to put any rod in any rod holder. If you catch a fish on your outside board, you can move all the rods over one holder and make that your inside board when you reset it, you don't need to run it all the way out there to reset as the outside board again. Sometimes you can't always rotate the rods like that if running them at different depths i know, but still, limiting the rods to be in a specific holder just doesn't seem like a problem worth having if it's just a matter of accidentally crossing a line being slightly less likely. If you're having trouble getting the rods in and out with hitting the lines of the other rods, I'd suggest you either space them out more, or get height extensions on the rod holders as oppose to getting varying length trolling rods.
What are the benefits of connecting to Hummingbird if we have the transducer? I prefer Lowrance for my GPS/Finder but like the idea of the new Cannon tech.
If you are targeting pinks you are just wasting herring. You could have trolled a bare hook this season and limited the boat. Herring strips are for silvers but you do you.
I have used the electric and 1050 riggers for many years. ru-vid.comUgkxbjBedIFSQ6Y6rp8DrCC_aoWMZI8GUpmH I bought these lake trollers for my 15’ Grumman sport boat and they worked almost perfectly for fishing lake trout. The only negative is that they seemed sticky on the retrieval, so I removed the spool and greased the underside of the stainless steel plate with some lip balm (the only thing I could think to use that I had on the boat with me). Then they worked much more smoothly. I don’t recommend using these down riggers if you’re planning on fishing deeper than 50’ as you’ll spend more time cranking than you will fishing.

Opened the 14th of August, it's not like there's tons of fish in there before then. We got the Sockeye fishery, Springer fishery, and all of October for Coho. Shame we don't get November but it's a pretty decent year IMO
lynnwarren07, There was an API change from Google that impacts the new devices as of May 1. We have a new version of the app being tested currently and should be out shortly. Please keep checking back on the app. Best Regards.
This video is slightly misleading. It doesn’t come with the swivel base. Here in Alaska it was $300 for the Downrigger model 5 ST and the swivel base sold separately for $130. It does come with that fixed mount that sits on top of the swivel base.
Tube holders look dicey to me. Trolling through raves, planer boards pulling then BAM a big wiggle from a trout or walleye. I'm afraid I'd lose my whole outfit.
