I went today with my 8 year old son. We loved it. So many fun things to look at plus so many talented people. Can someone let me know where I can have a look at the film again?
Hetain’s thinking behind this exhibition is explained so clearly and jargon free in this video. He has come up with this superb idea of a project that goes way beyond what one might expect from an exhibition of hobbies. The planning and work involved in bringing people’s private passions to public awareness is mind blowing. You only have to look at the locations on the map in this video to realise the mammoth task undertaken. I know from experience the great care, interest and encouragement that the friendly Artangel team displayed when organising the collection and display of my ‘hobby’. To think that this was replicated 240 times! My grateful thanks to all involved.
It was an Amazing exhibition! It was very well displayed, and there seem to be endless different pieces to see, so colourful and beautiful. So many peoples work was shown, which would not have been there in public eye to notice and admire, if it wasn’t for this exhibition. Some really amazing work 👏👏👏. Well done Hetain for this great 👍 idea and your biggest exhibition yet. So much work gone into it all. The car covered with the replica of your grandma’s carpet, is absolutely AMAZING! Well done! ♥️♥️♥️👏👏👏
Watching this in 2024 after listening to "Iron Hand" by Dire Straits, history as a 43yo 🏴men i never knew about. With everything going on in England right now I will say this brought me to feel many ways including a wet eye or 2. I hate and despise the British Gov, the monarch, the cops, and all those who are for the destruction of that once great land. 😡😢
A very meaningful and emotional experience. Thank God Oscar Wilde's work, passion and love lives on. I pray that wherever his soul is he can see the legacy and respect that he has left the world.🙏
UK flooded by criminals and prisons turn into art galleries. Where is the logic? The government always keeps a spare cell for political prisoners like Tommy Robinson, I suppose. Cognitive dissonance & social justice enforcement are flourishing in what once was free west. Now islamic west.
One day -- after Time Travel becomes commonplace and safe -- I will travel back in time to experience this installation in person! Lovely and haunting.
All I see here is miners pelting the police with stones and rocks and all I’m seeing on the news for the past tee days is that they wasn’t doing any throwing of stones and rocks, what a loosed crap so stop wasting public money on your stupid fucking enquiries and except the fact that you got your arse kicked for being a public nuisance, thuggery on behalf of the miners🖕
Free for the rich and powerful to do what they want...including legitimising mindless violence against their own people...to pave the way for stealing the same nation's riches from them...nothing less, nothing more
We are all Oscar Wilde. I couldn't stop listening until it was over. England must restore the glory, dignity and humanity of the person and soul of such a distinguished son of God and of the British nation. God has already done that Justice in heaven, it is his turn to receive human justice.
Wow! Just wow! 😭💔💔💔 that was absolutely amazing! I had cracked before the end and was crying with you! That was such a testament to him! I so hope he could see/hear this, wherever his soul may be and know that he is still so important, admired and appreciated, I was struggling at the beginning but I’m so glad I persevered, I was soon emersed and you did such a phenomenal job! Thank you for this performance ❤❤❤❤
So much beauty in this music and mind blowing 🤯 every time I get to see him on RU-vid doing this solo looping and creating a song. Pure talent that I couldn’t handle meeting this man I’d geek out.
Was wilde a butterfly flitting amongst the flowers? I think not. Rather, a moth flitting around a flame called Bowsie. Both narcissists of the worst kind feeding off each other.. In the end, two cats in a sack... Annie Lennoxs' 'sweet dreams are made of this' could sum them both up better than I. A gay icon? No. A lesson for all old men who think they're loves young dream.
Ugly reading not enough emotion boring not captivating same tone idk how someone can listen to this without getting bored ive been listening to poems in a while and in general poems needs more emotion and should be. Ore captivating
Charles Dickens, Hard Times ~ demonstrates the English schools and their goal to stamp out imagination :-) -- Amazing listening to two of my favourite intellectuals/artists/writers.
