I cannot get my laser to mark stone, no matter what settings I try. Focus is perfect, marks everything else I try without issue. I have a 20w raycus fiber laser. What am I doing wrong?

Dude you have no idea what you’re talking about. The irony is that the booster in your profile pic is held together with laser welds just like this. This looks like a totally solid laser OTW lmao

I have the same laser but it will not burn I can see the infred light coming out with my phone camera but it seems too weak to mark anything any idea what the problem is I have tried different height adjustment but it will not burn anything
@@josecano8347 Alright unfortunately no I didn't I stripped everything apart tested power supply etc everything seemed OK my conclusion was the actual laser dioded had died you can remove the cover to expose the fiber cable and use your phone camera in a dark room you can see the fiber cable light up I know sometimes the fiber can have a burn out I sold it on as spares at a massive loss what an absolute piss take to say it had only done around 20 hours from new so your low power outline laser is working but it won't burn? I don't want to insult your intelligence you probably know this but you do know you have to adjust the laser head to the perfect height for it to burn
@@BREN2009 I think it’s the actual fiber laser itself I checked everything power is good everything turns on right height just doesn’t engrave. Replace is 700-1000 and being new don’t want to spend more money on it.
