It bothers the shit out of me how ABSOLUTELY NOBODY WAITS A GODDAMNED SECOND and people push past each other and then hit the wheel before everyone is there. The number of times i have been pushed and then failed the jump so i didn't make it and then got teleported (you lose the buff that way too) is just astounding.
A guaranteed way to get through it is to always make sure the base of the triangle symbol is flat to the ground, even through the symbol isnt symmetrical it'll 100% work.
how does this increase uptime? F already moves during the mech as long as the MT is pulling the boss properly everyone should have full uptime already?
I see the end tunnel and my instinct is to try practicing perfect blinks. I actually looked to see if you were on Arc… after your Tether usage. El em phao
So what’s the theory behind the uptime dodge? If it’s out out you rotate towards the female (instead of all the way out towards the male) and stand slightly offset away from the cardinal on the first ring?
Towards female side, between the cardinal and intercardinal away from female. In this example, female was on 4, so you had to be between D and 3. If diffuse wave cannon was north south it'd be between A and 1. Anywhere between the third line and fourth line (where you usually stand for distant/near world) is safe
Sage could have shielded the party, or spot healed themselves, or healing cooldowns could have been better. Looks like Dark Missionary came out a bit too late to mitigate one of the hits that it was supposed to mitigate. Other things probably went wrong, too. Blaming it on oblation is not the answer. Lmao.
yeah there were many things prob that could been dif but oblation was one of many, in the end sge shoulda just topped themselves before stack and and they all woulda lived
ya that raid wide requires a minimum of 10% mit to survive. healers bis for TOP is still basically straight abyssos gear too and so they remain squishy in this fight still
sorry, just wanna ask bc i havent done top before, does the limit break refresh immediately upon previous use if the previous use was with a dynamis buff?
this is purely because the LB was most probably pressed to late and the tank got the lb buff after the damage snapshot. its been happening a lot lately but yeah...... it can happen
nah, the DRK's death here was intended, as that fully restores his mana(and thus gives more damage) when he revives about 2 seconds later via the healer LB3. The issue was that he somehow activated limit break again just has he was dying to the magic number cast, thus using up the LB3 and preventing the healers from using it, wiping the raid. Most likely scenario here is that the DRK had made a macro to "use the limit break and remove the buff from himself", so that he didn't have to manually do both. He spammed the button, Limit break went out, but the second half of the macro didn't work(because macro's are notoriously buggy in this game). Still having the buff, he panicked, and instead of right-clicking the debuff to remove it, he simply spammed his macro again, causing him to use the second limit break.
