yup, there is no room on bottom to take air, also he should move spine to get more room on gpu side and put spacers on pcie riser to make gap between gpu and motherboard, FE card will choke like this.
i was very unsure of these kind of Design approaches to cabinets at first,i did think Thermals have been overlooked just make a small footprint happen,i found the PSU placement..odd & just wrong too,something about it i essentially had to abandon my idea of what a Default System Look like to understand & Accept this & now it does make sense.. it might just be all i need it It might be Exactly what i need & such cases have One HDD bay too so that is also a big plus,maybe there can be a cut out on the side panel to accomodate a CD player even to place one instead of the HDD,lots of ideas,lots of possibilties Loving this thing
Can I fit an arctic iii 240 in this case? PC part picker won’t let me select as an option, but i’m not entirely sure why. The dimensions don’t seem like it wouldn’t fit or anything
I could be completely wrong - but did you put in the front panel HD LED connector to the wrong pins? I looked up your motherboards manual and it indicates that the hard drive activity led is connected on the bottom left two pins - only curious because I have a similar front panel pin layout as yours and that's how i connected them - otherwise the power sw is in the correct spot
The top panel clear AIO bracket came cracked with the Kraken Elite 360mm AIO cooler installed. I bought a custom build 4090 Asus GPU, I9-14900K CPU, Asus z790 rog strix E-gaming MB, 4 TB x850s SSD, 1200 watt NZXT PSU. PC came with the top bracket cracked on both sides on rear and front causing the AIO cooler to sag down on the right side. I am returning it and building my own.
Nice build, I have a very similar once coming in the mail and I'll leave another comment when I get all the parts in for assembly. Fractal North XL, but my specs are a step lower than yours. 7900 XT, 7500f processor (7600 with no integrated graphics that you can get for $120, crazy good deal), air cooled with a cheaper motherboard. $1500 flat on pcpartpicker cause I got the samsung pro 990 2tb SSD (the GOAT), your exact memory if I'm not mistaken, and an 850W psu which is 300W overkill at least but I want headroom since the 7900XT is very easily overclockable for more performance.
Quick Note Some of us have/suffer from tinnitus & hearing issues. The loud background music makea listening to voice-over whilst its playing very difficult and challenging. It's also very distracting & unnecessary.
Whenever I look at this case I feel like it's custom designed for my desk, room, and tastes. It's perfect. BTW, do Ripjaws S5's have Expo profiles? I assumed I needed Flare X5's for an AMD system.
