The best part about it is your video not recommending it! I had a dozen comments on the fitted box and the quality or lack of whatever but you pretty much covered it! Thanks, bud! Great video!
First off, a complaint. Just me, but that backwards flag behind you is making this hard to watch. I don't mind backward shirts....kinda fun to try to figure out....but NOT a backwards flag! Now the video: GREAT vid! Always enjoy your vids! Rations, remember, will keep you going but these are designed as supplemental. The lentil stew is actually good but it's way too thick! Add two mess kit spoons of boiling water and it's great! The beans and tomato sauce I tried had under cooked pasta and slightly underdone rice. Cooked for ten mins was perfect! The sugar and salt in a liter of purified water makes rehydration solution. Each of these rations also includes one item to feed an infant. An apple sauce or bananas etc. Now the best part! Use this as a base for a ration! Add an individual Spam slice, pack tuna, or hamburger patty....pack of Planters peanuts....pack of M&Ms....water flavorings, tea, and coffee.and you have a really FINE mre! Add two Coghlans fuel tabs in a baggy or two milsurp trioxane or hexamine bars. But this is $3 for a day ration. Add one or two bucks and you have a full day ration for half the price of one mre.
Your "film" is just flipped. Understood. Never a prob usually but the flag is just hard to avoid. One item that "can" be fed to an infant I should say. Some are sort of hard to see....but the makers say so. Pasta and rice in the beans and tomato sauce? Yeah. Lol! The pasta and tomato sauce entree was mostly lentils and beans, too. You get about six entree items and most are a mixture of all of them. The food is NOT BAD, though! All of them, you'll finish them! These are $3 for a DAY of not starving....milsurp MRE's are $10 PER MEAL.
Yes I do apologize for the flag, I am in the process of getting a better camera, this one is actually filming backwards. And yes this is a great way to start a ration and again for $3 bucks it's a fantastic base, the food is actually better tasting than some of the MREs I had going through basic. Thanks for all the insight. I appreciate your thoughts. I see a future video based on your comment....look for the shout-out
@@PaulsGearReview yeah it's not horrible but I see what you mean, the elite items look pretty good but all in all not the best month and lots of duplications
It was the largest bushmaster survival knife and a water straw, like I said pretty good but not the best boxes that's for sure, still better than our famously horrible GP
Mora Robust is ok knife for it's price. Wanna fall in love? Try Terävä Jääkäripuukko 140 or Peltonen Sissipuukko M95 or M07. There's a huge difference between real tools and cheap market knifes when you're bushcrafting. Not big enough? Skrama 240 ❤
Full tang knife was useful. Need more bandages? Try elastic electric tape. You can use it with paper, cloth or by itself, and it's best for finger joints. You might consider water filter. They're small and weight nothing.
They let us down again brother. The only thing I like is the light because it's not rechargeable so you don't have to worry about the battery going dead so it will last a long time without being charged.
Yeah. But you have to plug it in, it would be better if it was rechargeable. The Handy boxes are not good that's for sure, hopefully next month will be an improvement, I'm hanging in to box 100 then I think Barrel and Blade will take it's slot for 2025, hopefully my disability will have kicked in by then because there are a couple of boxes I want to add to my lineup.
Hey buddy. U gotta take the good woth the bad with these boxes. Idk everyone I've tried I seemed to b disappointed by them. I just like to pick things up as I need them or want them works better for me. But I've seen u get a few good ones thru out. That sleeping bag is nice but ur in the south . Sooo.. Lol. And yea those fiverglass knives idk aout them. But thank s for doing these I enjoy watching these videos. Hope ur doing well buddy.
Salut mon ami You're right, given the weight, the price and the space it takes up, I put it in all my bags. I also use them to make infusion bags when I am in nature and I find plants, at home I germinate seeds in them. It can also be used as compresses, bandages, toilet paper and so on...
Hey it came up. Smh. See I stock up on just about anything.. it's something I never used to do. But every check I'll grab a time of tooth paste or extra can of coffee or a box of bandaid or what ever it may b . N eventually u start getting multiples of things . Aka prepping. It's just that simple. But I do like this cause coffee filters are cheap to buy. One definitely like to have on hand. Everyone of my water purification packs I made have them in it. . Pre-filter. Good video brother..
Morning brother. I don't know what happening but this I'd the first video I've seen pop up of u in a while so I'm not getting notified .. but I guess I need to get on n binge ur videos . Hope all is good. Snows all gone n been out hiking already. Found a stick I will b making into a survival walking stick. Will have video of it . N I think it's gonna b my first video. I'll message kn one of ur videos to let u know when I up load. Have a gd day n keep prepping.
