Mushroomhead came out with 2 new songs. One is called “Fall in Line” and the other is called “Prepackaged”. Then the band As I Lay Dying has also 2 new songs. The first one is “Burden” and the other one is “The Cave We Fear to Enter.” Plus check out some of these songs out by Imminence. Some songs like “Continuum”, “Chasing Shadows”, “Alleviate”, “Heaven Shall Burn”, “The Sickness”, “Paralyzed”, “Heaven in Hiding”, and “Ghost”. These bands are amazing. By chance, you have done any of these videos or bands before then I apologize. Thanks ❤️🤘🏼❤️
@DerrickCharles5750 I use to love as I lay dying especially there ocean between us and shadows are security albums I still have them I definitely will check out those bands soon I'm in a small hiatus atm with my job but should be back on top of it by next week🤘🤘🤘
Daydreaming, Bestie, About Us, Anemone, Endless Story, Memorable, PAGE, Wonderland, Awkward, Start Over, Mirage, At the Drop of a Hat and Smile -- an unbelievable range of mid-tempo songs from the greatest hard rock band on the planet - Band-Maid. "Daydreaming," "YOLO," "Puzzle,” and a host of others are world-class masterpieces. Although I love Daydreaming just the way it is and believe it may be Band-Maid's best composed and overall accessible song, I've always wondered if it was sung in English, how deep in the international market Daydreaming would have traveled...? It'll be interesting to see if Bestie (sung in English) hits new markets. Oh well, I'll stop daydreaming now. Thx BigBoy, for another great Band-Maid reaction!
Band-Maid has built a strong reputation for composing Anime themes as works to order. Most of the band are anime fans and they take writing anime theme songs very seriously. They ask the producers what the show is about and they tailor the music and lyrics to the show. Examples include "Glory", "Different", "Sense", "Corallium", "Shambles". They have a new one, "Protect You" debuting in a few days.
Good reaction. Personally not feeling this version if the band. Prefer to listen to ex Mushroomhead members music like Jeffrey Nothing. Recommend A killers confession- Martyr.
Kanami is the biggest genius wearing sensible shoes on stage ever. The only reason why I say this is because I got to see Prince a few times as a composer, multi-instrumentalist and stage artist playing live. Prince did not wear sensible shoes (though I loved the stage presence of him rocking a pair of very high heels as the absolute boss while we all knew that the short guy wearing heels and purple garments could walk over, look at my girlfriend and say "you are now single" while walking away with said ex-girlfriend with a grin. Kanami would never do that wearing sensible shoes while trying to marry Saiki on stage. This is why Kanami is the biggest genius wearing sensible shoes. She did not just write this song, she composed this short solo on an effing piano (allegedly) to ask everyone "You are not crying yet? - let me help you to get in touch with your emotions". I KNOW my theory has flaws. Akane on the drums is wearing a tiny hat (RIP hat) that makes no sense at all while going Gorilla on the drums when Kanami goes "F*ck lyrics, let me speak this emotion instrumentally" as Misa is playing bass lines that do not require shoes at all. It is very close to the peak instrumental interlude ever created by someone in sensible shoes, someone without shoes at all and a lady with a tiny hat (RIP tiny hat) even compared to a dude wearing very high heels going on tour with the finest band lineups money could ever buy (including Sheila E. herself on percussion wearing half a bathsuit). This is why "nobody" talks about Band-Maid playing in Maid costumes. It is too good to ponder "fashion". Kanami is however wearing sensible shoes. That is worth a notion as we conclude "brilliant music just happened" 🙂
Thanks for continuing down the BAND-MAID Pigeon hole , i`ve heard this song twice live , Saiki`s voice is amazing gives you chills , tip for pausing , go back about 5 or 10 sec n restart the video so you don`t miss anything , also during a solo`s wait till its done to pause , then you can go back and listen to it again . the video was filmed in Taiwan in 2016 .
Goosebumps 🪿 are a natural side effect of the Maids. This is arguably one of Kanami’s best solos. Another is in “Puzzle,” if that helps you going forward.
BTW...if you continue the journey with the Maids and more Maidiacs comment, you might start seeing some recurring themes and terms. So a short set of notes for reference. For Maid theme: Miku, the band founder, used to work in a Japan Maid Cafe to make ends meet until she made her dreams come true. Her vision, create "the gap", a juxtaposition between cute Maids and hard rocking Music. "Masters and Princesses" - this is what the Maids call their fans. "Okyu-ji" - Translates to "Servings", which is what they call their live concerts. "Omajinai Time" - Translate to "Magic Spell Time", during this time a spell is cast at by Maids and their Masters and Princess at Maid Cafes "Maid Armor" or "Maid Battle Armor" - the Maid outfits they wear. Although they started with same/similar outfits, they have evolved over time to fit the personalities of each Maid. Other FYI: Kobato is the family name of Miku, the second lead vocal, backing vocal, rhythm guitar, main lyricist and band founder. Her Kanji translate to "small pigeon". "Hato" which is what translate to pigeon/dove, can also be conceived as 8-10. So she has taken on the persona of a 810 yr old small pigeon. Thus Miku often ends most of her sentences with "PO!" "PO!" - Onomatopoeia associated to the sound a pigeon makes in Japan is "Kuruppo" or "Poppo". "PO!" being the shortened version.
Thank you for a great reaction Master BigBoy. "Daydreaming" is my favorite song from the Maids. Especially with the awesome intros Kanami will do at live shows. Her intro at the 10th Anniversary Tour Finale at Yokohama Arena (the same show "Hate?" OLV was shot) solidified "Daydreaming" as my number 1. It was always battling for the top two with "Blooming" depending on my mood. Kanami is such a great guitarist. Letting her guitar sing, whether it's a face melting solo...or a soul wrenching solo. Goose bumps at the minimum. Awe and amazement at other times. Tear very often. Keep on the journey. PO!🕊 🤘😆🤘 Try: "Alone" OMV, the first song accepted by the label which was written by the Maids themselves and never looked back. Prior to "Alone", the music was written for them. "Blooming" OMV a composition masterpiece by Kanami. A homework assignment for her fellow band members. To come up with a portion of the song. Then the master stitched it all together...pure genius. My second favorite of the band. Followed by about 50 songs all challenging for the #3 spot. 😂 "From Now On" OMV a kick 🍑 instrumental. "Onset" OLV another kick 🍑 instrumental. "Manners" and "Black Hole" OLV. A great two-for to see more sides of Band-Maid. "Manners" a bluesy/groovy song. "Black Hole" a speed demon of organized chaos as you're experiencing being sucked into a black hole. At 220bpm, their fastest song currently in their portfolio. Although Kanami has mentioned she was going to have to write a faster song during their Herman Li (Dragon Force) appearance on his channel.
This a great song but you have zero artistic competence this song is way more relevant that your stupid remarks of an anime opening you should just stop reacting plus you just pushed during a kanami solo big mistake you are very ignorant please just stop while your so far behind and just enjoy bandmaid off camera
BAND-MAID do have anime theme song commissions. 'Glory' for Yu-Gi-Oh VRAINS and 'Shambles' for the Netflix anime, Kengen Ashura. They also appear in anime form in 'Unleash'.
This beautiful rock ballad is one of my favorite Band-Maid song (along with many others especially the Maids). It is always a treat when they play it in a concert. Kanami has done some beautiful preludes to the songs in their concerts from piano to a guitar solo. Her opening solo to "Daydreaming" from their 10th Anniversary Tour finale brought tears to my eyes, it was so beautiful.
Band Maid is the perfect rock band. They have so much creativity and can mix everything together perfectly. They are easily my favorite band in a long time. All that said, sometimes I want growls, and for that, lately, I turn to Hanabie. Check out Tousou from Hanabie, I think you will be surprised and enjoy it.
Gorgeous tune. Epic guitar solo. Rickenbacher and tiny hat-o still present. Love every part but the drums stand out to me. A beautiful BandMaid ballad. Thanks for your reaction.
Like something more Heavy Metal with some Frye scream thrown in... Might take a look at a band called "Nemophila". Start with a song called "Rise"... it's a good middle of the road song by them.
Caution...humming their catchy choruses and rifts is a common occurrence. Welcome to Band-Maid live performances, where the fans and the Maids feed off each others energy. This ladies know how to kill it and do it with a smile. You've just scratched the surface...they have a very deep and diverse portfolio. Buckle up and enjoy the ride! Try "From Now On" OMV a killer instrumental that doesn't disappoint. PO!🕊 🤘😆🤘
although Jeffery nothing left, they found a guy who was able to match that Mushroomhead sound in the vocals. I feel that if Gravy was still in the band that those riffs would have been KILLER with his style. still a good song.
We all regret not finding them sooner. I ignored a link for a year because I made assumptions due to the outfits. I wasted a year. 😢 Two months later I flew from Florida to Cali to see them live. Best decision of my life.
Well, technically, they weren't "solos" because Akane was killing it as backup - they do have plenty of TRUE solos, though, so plenty to look forward to! 👍😎😊
I can see it in your face, you’re hooked like me. fyi, Band Maid is: MIKU (mee-koo) Rhythm guitar, backing vocals, writes the lyrics, band founder. There is no Band Maid without her. KANAMI (kah-nah-mee) Lead guitar, writes and arranges all the music. She is a riff making machine. MISA (mee-sah) Bass. She’s special and the band knows it. She is highly featured often. Nickname: the barefoot assassin. AKANE (ah-kah-neh) Drums. You can set your watch to her incredibly consistent driving beat. Happiest drummer on the planet. Nickname: Gorilla. SAIKI (sigh-kee) Lead vocals and “Front man”. She has that ability to command the room. She’s the Team Mom.
A Song with Nathan James and Paleface Swiss couldn't be any different. It became my favorite song. I can't stop listening. 🤘🏻🖤🔥 Good reaction! Thanks! Please, React to "Whitechapel - Let me Burn"
Already great suggestions for The Maids (ya can't go wrong with this band. They're the Mt. Everest for me), so I'll throw a couple more bands at ya, who are also awesome. Asterism - "Rising Moon" - mv. Good song to start with. Also from Japan. The Warning - "Automatic Sun" - mv. From Mexico. They just played a show with Band-Maid and introduced a collaboration song at that show. Should be released soon. V.O.B. - "God, Allow Me to Please Play Music" - mv. From Indonesia. SUPER inspiring band. A bit different, but rock nonetheless. Happy hunting, Big Boy! You've got a REALLY fun road ahead! 🕊
Big boy, maybe try Memorable MV, Freedom (official live), About Us (official live), Daydreaming MV….not quite sure if your taste but these are less rocky, shows a different side.
Oooh! 😊 welcome to our family our BM world. You are going to get such a kick out of this journey. 125+ top-notch, no-miss, winners. Genre-bending bad-assery….
6:50 - "I'm losing my words a little bit" You're fine, BAND-MAID just has that effect on new listeners. 8:00 - Here ya' go, welcome to the pigeon hole (err rabbit hole): Domination (2020 live) Rinne (2020 live) Warning! (MV) Don't You Tell Me (Official live) From Now On (MV)
