Hey, Lovely to hear from you and thanks for reaching out. I love it when people do. Will you didn't see me for a while as we had 9 weeks of school! Crazy! I only got to film a little bit over that time as the kids don't love it when I film so that is why. You will see me more again. I hope you are well 😊😊
As a home educator that holds all these values at the top of our list of importance, I am SO excited at the prospect of finding a school environment that aligns so completely! I need a break y'all 🙃 Aside from that, I'd want to get our kids would so love to get us there so we can be friends 😅 thanks a million for this excellent video!
Ok so you are making me miss my American friends a lot, you must be from America saying y'all. I have no idea how you say it so easy...for me its hard work to say y'all but I love it. I so hope in coming years, more and more schools go this way because there are a large chunk of us who struggle with the current school system that seems sooooo outdated. thank goodness for Green School and home educators! Go you!
i bought a brand new scooter and im learning how to ride it, the very next day i dropped it on the side but nothing happened, my mom tried to help me pick it up and grabbed it by the gas handle.. and the thing went flying, thankfully only got a broken mirror a few scratches, and a few bend parts, not too bad tbh.. so lesson learned. if you drop your scooter, turn it off asap
noooooo I see this happen so much and actually when I first started riding I used to do it a bit....I am a good car driver and only an Ok scooter driver, even now!!! good luck and thanks for watching
G'day Jackie, it's sooo coool to see you back! Each time you post a new video and I hear "hey guyyyys, it's Jackie heeere", you put a smile on my face and I know it's gonna be a good day. Keep on posting!
Hey, yes 100% still at green school, I filmed a lot of this at GS. It is not too bad 30 minutes and no traffic as we are just a little away from Canggu. It is bliss. Oh I am dying to go to Germany as my grandparents were German. Merry Christmas to you, stay warm over there
Sounds Great, i‘ll come over to Bali after Christmas with my son, because i want to Show him everything. My Wife and myself consider to move to Bali next year august. So my son and i will come To have a close Look at Green School and some Places to stay. We would like to enroll him there, if he likes it as much as we do. Fingers Cross
Thanks for the great info! Our kids are in ISLA Academy in DR. Same project based learning approach and outdoor school. We’re looking to possibly move to Bali in a few years. So this video was very helpful!
Love your blogs, so natural. Green school is now in NZ too. Wonder if you ever considered moving there? Not sure how different is the experience!! I'm in SG, amazed by this school but not able to make a decision yet! I love Bali but so scared of snakes haha
Hey, thank you so much for loving them and watching. appreciate it so much. yesssss I looked at GS NZ and meet the founders too but it wasn't for us. It is so different from Bali, and every GS around the world I think will be so different. Also, it is in a part of NZ that I know so well as my family (both sides) are from there, and as much as I love visiting there, I could NEVER live there. Oh dont worry about the snakes too much, they really dont like us so have a torch at night and dont live near the jungle too much 🤣
Hai Jackie, I hope you and your kids Its good condition right now. Your house in Canggu. Its very nice., I hope you are very comfortable stayed in Canggu👍
Hi Jackie, nice to know you driving a scooter (in here, we call it Scoopy). But please don't forget to wear helmet and shoes, for your own safety. Once the scooter is on.....the world is yours.....😆
Hey, Of course. Thanks for watching. There is a street in Ubud called JL Raya Andong which is where you can get baskets, wooden bowls, and macrame stuff. It's great and lots of different shops to choose from. Monsieur blonde and Ananda soul are the Jewellery stores...Ananda soul is my fav and amazing but a bit pricey. Ubud Art Market is just being rebuilt but they now have smaller markets all around. My fav clothing designers are Lulu Yasmine, Uma and Leopold , Magali Pascal and sometimes Milk and Roses...hope that helps
Jackie - we have been following your video’s to learn more about moving to Bali. Currently in Bali looking at properties around Ubud and would like to know more about your experience living in a “eco community”. Originally from Wellington too!
Hey, thanks for reaching out. Love that you are from Welly. I think it's great, look at living light in Ubud, a lovely community and I like the style house's. It depends on the age of your kids I think, My older 2, at that time they were 12 and 10 and they hated it but for the younger one it was a dream. Living light is a lot more private so feels like more your own home but Eco village, Green village are all very village feel so I know the only thing to think about that is common that comes up with people is if you don't like kids running in and out of your house all day then don't do it or be just upfront. In eco-village everyone knew in the village that although I loved visitors my older 2 didn't so they just asked before sending their kids over. Otherwise, it can be like an open home!! Hope that helps
I'm crossing my fingers for you to have a white Christmas here in Europe. It hasn't been snowing in December at this latitude (Belgium) for years, but who knows, maybe it will because you're here 😇 Thanks for the lovely videos, and have fun in the camper van!
Hey Laurent, I feel like surely in Switzerland it will snow...will that is my hope, I will cross my fingers and toes that we get snow somewhere:) Haha the campervan will be an experience that's for sure
ah thank you thank you. I have been soooo sick so haven't loaded for a few weeks but one is coming. Do you know it's the only helmet that fits me, I have a child-sized head and I think it's just a Bali helmet that I found for sale on the side of the road. Thanks so much for watching
Hey, oh Bali has really opened so its alot harder to get rentals at the mo and the prices have really gone up. Bali properties or ubud rental and there are also a heap of groups on facebook depending where you want to live. Just search up canggu rentals or ubud rentals. Good luck
@@jackieeasthope thank you. Yes the prices are not cheap! Appreciate your tips and love catching up on your videos. Thanks for sharing. From a fellow kiwi, I appreciate you and your perspective 🤩👏💜.
@@jackieeasthope thank you. You're an inspiration for those that will follow in your footsteps. I would love to know where you stayed in your first house. I think you mentioned it was in a village?
@@colleenj7389 oh thank you. Its such a big life decision for people to do this but easy for me 😉 Also we left NZ in the middle of covid...people thought I was mad but it was the best decision ever. I was in the eco village, there are 2 eco villages made by the same people. One in Sibang and one in Penestanan Kaja, Ubud. I know there is still houses in my old village in Ubud x
Thank you for these videos Jackie. We're kiwis living in Wanaka thinking of coming out to Bali to live for 6 months or so. I've found your videos really helpful.
