@@WilliamMattar reflexes most likely, in that situation you dont really think about the mass and energy in motion. Its also a very big cause for workplace injuries, people simply acting on instinct instead of thinking it through.
Mom came home from a shift in the ER and told us about a real idiot. Guy stands up on his motorcycle at highway speed…wound up kissing a telephone pole…he didn’t make it
Lady backed out onto the road while I was moving around 80-90mph. T boned her and went flying. The good lord definitely saved my butt that day. No major injuries but the next day i was so stiff couldnt move at all. That lasted about 3 days. Stay safe ya'll
1980 Chevy suburban with 6 screaming kids in it pulled in front of me, I knew I had to go for the hood because I could superman over the hood and go for the grass parking strip. Timed it perfect and flew over the hood but I didn't see the guy wire holding up the telephone pole. I flew so close to that cheese grater I could have touched it. Landed on my face in the grass with a open face helmet with a plastic face shield, got a mouth full of grass but rolled a somersault and landed on my feet. Loose, ya I was loose.
Car windows are designed to catch people now, and cars, especially European and Japanese cars are mandated by those countrys laws, to have a certain amount of space between the hood and the engine/engine components. As far as staying loose, thats 10000% correct. Thats why drunk drivers can get in such bad accidents and have minimal injuries. They tend to be so relaxed because of the alcohol, that their body flops around, which actually protects the bodys joints and organs better than being tense
It really depends because someone who doesn't know that brick is fake might see it as a deadly weapon being aimed at them and respond appropriately to it and would be well within the law to do so
Cars completely ignore the cross walk near my house so ive just begun walking into the crosswalk on the road when im ready and when cars get mad i just point to the sign.
@@WilliamMattar well it probably is real video but the brick 🧱 are fakeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee rubbery or styrofoam that’s probably so when a car dose come up you pretend to be holding a real brick 🧱 but be careful road rager’s someone might be carrying a knife 🔪 or a gun be safe 🙏🏿
if people don't give a shit about pedestrian safety, the threat of a brick to the windshield if you drive aggressively when you shouldn't is a good incentive
even if it was a crosswalk that had good lights, people will blow lighta especially in a busy city. its like how areas have those yellow hazard lights but wont add a real light. even if ur waiting for cars to stop cus BLINKING YELLOW LIGHT LIKE A HAZARD they will still plow through.
Almost got hit by some grandma doing that. Doesnt seem that dangerous till you go over a hill and suddenly got headlights in your face while going down a one way highway
@@WilliamMattar best bit is the guy probably had a heck of a time getting that car on there these things normally have steel or concrete bollards blocking the entrance so you can't get anything much bigger than a person in there
who cares if it is a bike path or not: cyclists and pedestrians are not entitled to their own roads. If I need to get somewhere, I need to get somewhere.
