I grew up around one of these 84 85 86 Lincoln continental are very rare I believe they're making a come back I saw a neighbor driving one they're about to be a classic I feel
wow this recording was making me sea sick...ever heard of image stabilizer or better yet, just slow down while recording? The most crude video I have seen!!
a friend of mine bought one of these ( hers was a 87) about 1992, and she said she never put so much money in a car she had owned before, and her car before was a Eldorado. Those stupid air suspension replacements were over 2 grand for the rear and then over 2 grand for the front. She dumped it and bought a Buick
I have a 1987 Lincoln Continental with 77,481 actual miles paid 2100.00 for it 4 years ago. I deleted the Air Ride Suspension and put regular shocks and struts on it best thing I ever did.
I have a 81 Lincoln valintino edition 48000 miles. Was garage kept. Been outside for about 2 years. I am wantingto sell to very srious buyers. Hit me up cars in pretty damn good condition
I stumbled across this video and realize that this is my car that I bought a year ago. Small world. It's still in the same excellent condition. Car number 383. Love it.
I have one also with 89K original miles in Vegas currently (1-11-17) for sale, Here is the Craigslist listing: lasvegas.craigslist.org/cto/5914916657.html Here is my email address: Diamonddille@gmail.com Your Health Care and Retirement Solution : www.AbsorbNutrition.biz
These cars were unbelievable for the time. Grand Nationals and GNX's get the respect from car guys, but this thing could out do them both! Same engine as the GNX(only 500+ produced), but this engine had different heads, raised fuel pressure, and a suspension to put it to the ground. 162mph top speed, and a 13.5 quarter mile in 1989 was ridiculous.
Beautiful car!I had an 87 just like this same paint and interior, wow brings back memories, seriously still have a dream once or twice a year that buy it back.Got it when I was 17 in 1991 and had it for 4 years....DAMN I MISS THAT CAR!Had it in Wilmington,Delaware.
My neighbor past away 4 mths ago, and his car is for sale here in St.Louis. He bought it new but had kidney problems all his life, so it has realy been garaged it's whole life. Looks just like above but with the rear window louvers, factory 305 engine, trans was rebuilt last year, and new edolbrock carburetor installed before he passed away. He want $5000 for it. Drivers seat needs reupholstering is the only wear on this car.
this is the same car my dad had when i was born in '87 except his had silver ground effect and louvers in the rear window. We lived in NY too (long Island) and left to Texas and my dad never saw his car again. kinda hoping to find that car but only thing i have is pics and nothing else that could help me locate it. Wish i had a vin # to track it down and get it back. Nice car though. Wish i could find one of these and surprise the old man. i might settle for an '87 iroc with an LS1
I read some of these comments... and think "really?!" lmao - you never and I mean EVER swap out a motor in such a rare vehicle! There were only 1555 of these made in total. It'll be worth it's weight in GOLD someday. 'Nuff said.
I guess it's an 86' in the movie with a few modifactions, the front bumper here looks sportier, I love the Planes, Trains and Atoumobiles scenes with that car, loved the color too. My parents had an 83' Blue Aries wagon with the faux wood sides, they saved it till my sister could drive, they drove like go carts, easiest driving car ever made.
