Hey thanks for putting this together. Been going to see Dave at SPAC since 2005. Finally got to see Spoon! Was super happy when they played JTR as well as it's one of my favorites. Overall I thought it was one of the better setlists I've seen there in years. Night two was awesome as well. Looking forward to when you post that vid!
UPDATE: Some footage I played from the OAR and Friends Set had to be muted due to Google and SEAC not reaching a licensing agreement on certain artists music under SEAC being properly compensated.
"We're all just monkeys missing a tail.".... What a sad view of the world. We were created in God's image to bring him glory forever. If anyone ever finds a monkey making music as amazing as this, please let me know!
Thank you for sharing this full show, it's so Cool. Got Pittsburgh tickets for November 15. Really good seats too🎉🎉. Very excited to see Dave Matthews band again live. Samantha ❤️💜

This is great! I love seeing the people having such a great time! That's what it's all about... great music from a great band and having a great time with great friends!
It was a great day. We had a few surprises last year, and I was expecting something this year. Rumors were Trey, Springsteen, Billy Joel and a few others. What they did pull off was fantastic, they ran pretty tight on schedule this year (except Neil Young) but I thought they missed a few opportunities. I really wanted Mavis and Joy in 10:13 on The Weight. Last year we had Bob Dylan, Bobby Weir and Dave Matthews… why didn’t they do Watchtower together? Can you imagine? SPAC is beautiful, not a fan of the concert seating. There were no defined areas on the lawn, no walk ways, no section markers etc. it was mostly good luck and gfy if you get Lost. Lastly, on the shuttle last night - one of the other volunteers said he prefers Dave and Tim to DMB. The shuttle driver got big mad 😂 - they had a 10 minute shorter set this year which explains the shorter set.
@@petercaratzas1315 this was my post show stream reviewing the set and playing fan reaction form the venue. I do one after most DMB and Dave & Tim Shows.
@@concertvids34 Leading with a full, unlabeled clip of Dave & Tim performing “The Weight” with Mavis Staples (who was on the Farm Aid lineup but did not sit in) is what’s throwing people off - especially fans unfamiliar with your channel who are looking for the 2024 performance. I wouldn’t expect you to repost this video, but if you’re open to suggestions for the future: you might consider placing alternate versions of a performance later in the video for comparison. Overlaying a tag with the original performance date of the song would also help clear things up for confused viewers (this one, for instance, was pulled from Dave & Tim’s 2/16/24 show in Mexico). Appreciate your dedication & analyses! Be well my dude ✌️
Definitely an epic night and run. A Full last stop or a 2 step to close would have been an unbelievable but still what A night! Less than 2 months away!
@@tambourinedmb it’s doesn’t really matter who had the better performance. Anytime this type of fender bluesy neck pickup electric guitar tone is utilized with brilliance it is a win for the fans. What John and Cory did on their #41 guest spots is a tone that best fits any era of DMB.
3 things! Corey Rules He definitely took some things from Wootens solos over the years Carter is amazing at following and supporting solos. 11:16 is amazing.
Cory is so talented. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I’d buy a ticket just to watch Carter greet everyone. And I’m loving how Jeff takes selfies with everyone too. They’re just a bunch of great humans and I’m thankful to be alive at the same time they’re all out doing what they do.
