That's beautiful. I just started painting and the few artists who's work I see are very meticulous and I kept feeling discouraged since I'm a perfectionist and wasn't creating anything close to perfect. But as I sit and watch your painting videos I am starting to realize that maybe perfect isn't just one way. Your paintings have colors bleeding together, different shapes and sizes, and everything the other pictures I had been using as reference weren't. Seeing your paintings doesn't make me feel discouraged but inspired. Thank you for posting these videos. I think it was exactly what I needed to see.
Just beautiful. I am struck by how wet you are able to keep things on all of your vides. I end up with just a huge blob of mushed together color with not much definition. I need to use more pigment, I know that much. Thank you
What a welcome find. Lived in Blue Mt. Lake for 23 years. Now in Fl. and have a painting of yours in the living and 1 of Jane Z's on the other wall. We love your painting.
Lovely..and so informative! I just found your channel after reading your article published in the SPRING addition of the Watercolor Artist magazine. Years ago I was able to take a couple weekend workshops with you in the Adirondacks while I was staying at Camp Driftwood on Indian Lake.
Sarah, I am so happy to have found your channel. I took a one day workshop with you in Lake Placid, and I am hoping to do another, longer workshop, in the near future. Getting my first vaccine next week, here in Vermont, so hopefully, we will be able to converge again in LP.
Hello Sarah, I watched your Demo yesterday for the SCVWS. I was trying to find the Stevenson Acrylic Gel. That Canadian company has gone out of buisness. I wondered if you have tried other brands of Acrylic gel medium for framing. Thanks I tried to send an email to you through your website but it doesn't not work.
Thank you for such a wonderful tutorial! Gave me inspiration to try a looser style of watercolor painting. I also admire the way you mix the colors on the paper; makes the subject come alive. Being a beginner with watercolor your style makes me want to take risks to find my own style. Look forward to many more great tutorials of yours. Marilyn Cooper
