It's good to see your video and seeing that you are happy 😊 How is your health and life going? If you don't mind me asking, are your seizures better and are you doing better now. I hope you always stay happy and well
Hi ,,,, I am really interested in your content,,, i am a radiation technologist not a laboratory technologist is there is a route to USA for me like you do ? is there is exam or something that i can do to find a job in the USA
Thank you 😊 I don't know much about rad tech processes, but what I do know is for the US the your organization is called ARRT, you can probably learn more about that through their website ARRT.org Hope this could help
Good day i have a question regarding sending ascpi cert. To cgfns they send me a form just like the one that is for prc how can i send them or i just need to ask ascpi to send them a copy thrue there website
As a fellow minnesotan. You are in the best part of U.S. with 4 lovely seasons. Your apartment tour pop up while scrolling an your awsome smile and up beat personality put a smile on me. And watched every vlog video. Keep up the positivity of living live we need more of it in the world. I am a fan and a sub. 3:39
It really inspired me to take medtech seriously to be able to come to US just like you ate huhu, btw, 3rd year medtech here, still trying to survive hema, bacte, histo and cc1 lol.
Intro 00:00 Part 1 00:32 (Moving day; Beginning process) Part 2 07:40 (Tour) Part 3 25:30 (Rent, Ammenities, etc...) Outro 29:00 (Apologies for not uploading)
Honey, Im telling you. Same things happen in any lab in any country. Trust me, I’ve been to 1000+ beds capacity hospitals in Philippines, dubai, saudi arabia. My soulution was to learn as quickly as possible by writing down notes. I even record tutorials and trainings secretly and write them down as notes when I went home, this way I can minimize error especially during actual work.
It's been a year now, and I have improved greatly, sadly my co worker still treats me like I'm incompetent and bad mouths me sometimes to our new co worker but tbh, I do feel a lot better compared to before, I'm used to her perfectionistic tendencies and I just brush off the off hand comments towards me and how I do my job, because to my manager, superviser and new co worker, I do a good job, and I'm satisfied with that.
Sorry for the super late reply, I missed your comment and just now seeing it, did you get an employer? If you're still interested about interview advice I'll try my best to help
@@haneOokame yes I have an interview with hospital lab managers in the coming weeks to discuss ABT my background but I also thing they might ask specific questions since I am being interviewed by hematology and microbiology lab managers
@@bwogi2 oh that's great! Good luck, make them see you're a team player but can operate independently in the lab, and just be cheerful and answer their questions as best you can 🙂
It depends on the agencies, some require payment before further processing applications and some don't until the end, but for my understanding all agency will ask for fees in certain aspects of the process
New sub here, may I ask if this is your first time working in abroad? and also how long was your work experience prior to working in the US? this work problem videos are really a big help for us who are also aspiring to go abroad. It kinda gives us the reality that we could be facing if ever we get to work there. Good content! hope to hear and see more from you😊
Hello and thanks for the sub 🥰 Yes it's my first time working abroad, I worked as an MT for 4 years back in the PH. I was hesitant in posting that vid at first but I wanted to be honest about what I was feeling because it was really taking a toll on my mental health at the time, but currently it has gotten better, I do still have a lot of video content planned so thank you for the encouragement!
Thanks for subscribing! Of course you still have a chance, you can try to apply for positions specific to chemistry, or shoot your shot with a generalist position, there's a place out there for everyone, you'll find yours eventually, good luck!
Hi! May i have any insight on what the interview questions that were given to you are? I’m also with PHR and sir Russ estimated that i have my interview in 2 months and i’m nervous
It varies, depending on the institutions skill requirement and what they'll value more, some will be more academic and situational with their questions, some will lean more on personality questions and how you'll get along with co-workers and pressure of the job, some will depend their questions on your experiences. Try to know your resume well and recall specific situations you've experience that can help you troubleshoot certain scenarios. You will mostly be left unsupervised with your work so it's important to them that you'll know how to troubleshoot and handle situations on your own as best you can before asking for help.
Kulang ka sa Training sa pinas???? Wala kang ibang choice kundi iffigure out papanu mo mapapadali ung trabaho mo Jan combination of speed and accuracy. *hug ~ I know this video has been a while but I know it gets better through time., I'm still working and processing on going abroad to the US (still in PH) but as someone who has worked in several hospitals , this feeling is so normal when youre starting out in a new work place :/ it really sucks feeling so helpless and panicky 90% of the time . My very first job was at this fancy hospital with a lot of workload and it took me months to actually not feel anxious when going to work., my second hospital was easier for me to adjust, making work friends also helped a lot (and the second one was WAY less toxic than the first lmao ) good luck~ ! cheering for you!
You can get it anytime depending on the employer who hires you, some will do H1B because it's quicker than an EB3, some will do an EB3 because that already includes a green card but it takes years to complete, it depends
Yes I think 3yrs of work experience is the minimum requirement. And I know they do work with other international MLS, but it's best to ask them as well
thank you so much for this video! i have a scheduled interview w phr this feb. hope it goes well 😭 sana makalipad na rin this year. may i ask, yung placement fee ng phr, do you have to pay it in whole or pwede mag downpayment tapos saka na babayaran yung remaining kapag sumesweldo na sa us? nireready ko lang ang sarili ko financially 😭 thank you so much! please keep posting videos like this 🥰
Thank you for the support, about the placement fee you have to ask Cora about that to make an arrangement, I almost went that road but I eventually ended up paying in full so it's better to ask Cora herself
So far it has gotten better especially with my co-medtech. The hardest part for me is learning their LIS system since it's my first time handling it, learning their protocols as well through trial and errors.
