I'm just a gamer who enjoys playing games with friends. I decided I'd share some of that with the RU-vid Community. It may not be the best quality content, but I'm trying to get better (especially with the commentary).
I currently am not going to upload directly to here. Instead, I will be exclusively streaming on twitch, and then either creating highlights for here, or uploading the stream VODs
My usual online name is racing_pro, and Google finally let us have characters in our names. Woot!
Computer specs and game list are in pastebin documents to save space. Links directly below.
As the description says, I decided to trim out ~20 minutes of the race thanks to repetitive nature of this Gfred. If you'd like to watch the full, unedited version, it's linked in the description.
I remember that when i played pokemon shield when i was younger i accidentaly caught my zamazenta on a master ball (it was guaranteed caught no matter how)
As I said to another commenter, they mostly came on hacked mons I received on wondertrade, with two of them being the ones you get during normal gameplay.
That's correct. The default shiny rate is 1/4096, but research level 10 will increase the odds for that specific Pokémon to 2/4096 (or 1/2048), and perfecting the entry will be 4/4096 (or 1/1024). The shiny charm and (massive) mass outbreaks stacks with this as well, but I suggest looking up those rates on sites like Serebii or such
Something that I think helped me was that until recently, I've been using glasses that I had when I was around 16. I kinda got used to having to predict certain things and giving some extra margin.
I don't own Scarlet, but I have uploaded my first playthrough of Violet: ru-vid.com/group/PL8POeG_CUOQD2fxaO1TolDfl_PagTyZOO If you mean doing a Prof. Oak Challenge, it's on my list of POCs to do, I just wanted to do Legends: Arceus first.
The very first pokemon I caught in Arceus (after the bidoof) was a shiny starly and I thought it was a plant. The guaranteed Shiny Ponyta furthered my suspicion.
Shiny spawns should stay shiny as long as you don't leave the map. Even if the despawn, the same pokemon will respawn. The funny thing is if a shiny pokemon is replaced because the day/ night shift, then the pokemon that replaced the shiny is going to be a shiny. All the spawns are decided when you enter the map. And they are only changed when you catch or faint them.
"...because the night/day shift, then the pokemon that replaced the shiny is going to be a shiny" Well, I once found a shiny Budew at Crimson Mirelands, and due to the night shift, a Gastly replaced it (and it was n o t shiny) Or maybe it was just bad luck, but who knows
@narri_l_official How did you fail it? It works as long as the pokemon does not faint. If it faints it is gone. And again if it because the day/night shift then you need to save and restart the game.
