Work your side steps don’t work the peekaboo Work your side steps and work the catch and shoot It will translate better in sparring When you get their timing down with the catch and shoot then you can practice mixing in the head movement in sparring After ever punch your throw you are in the same spot That is a bad habit You should be out at a different angle after every combination Combination pivot left Combination pivot right Combination take two steps back and either: A) combination again and then pivot out right or left Or B) Pivot right or left and reset Unless you have been sparring a lot and already have people timing you beeen sparring against timing and distance memorized you should not be working head movement as a beginner The only head movement you should be doing is moving your head while punching so you are not in a straight line while punching because even a blind man can hit you if you don’t move your head while punching But even then I wouldn’t recommend a beginner do that unless they are being supervised by a coach Work your footwork and work on catching shots and returning fire immediately after catching is better and will translate better in sparring so you can get people timing and distance down and move on to more advance techniques like slipping and countering Master the basics first!!!
This video appeared on my RU-vid feed and I’m glad it did. I got into boxing a month ago and it has been life changing. I don’t look as great as you in this video, but I took great inspiration in your technique/style. You got a new subscriber. By the way the home gym looks amazing! 🥊🔥💥
