Another informative and entertaining 2nd of your videos in a row. Most travel RU-vidrs tend to share the same opinion, that Delta is better than the rest of the domestic airlines. This is my home airport and 95% of my flights are Delta from this terminal, I’ve had Sky Club lounge access through my credit card the past 3 years and forgot about the terminal experience. Terminal 2 is a short walk away with more food and shopping options. (FYI) as of 2024 the international terminal is now accessible via airside for the first time ever and offers plenty of additional shops, restaurants and lounges.
Here's the deal, you should fly it out of LAX (a much different airport) and fly a much longer flight, like to NYC. That might be a game changer...for the worst.
Most people don't know, but the gate agents don't work for Spirit, they are contractors. The gate agents also get money for every bag they charge for, around 10 dollars, so they're going to try to get their money. It's awful, but you should be careful.
In 2019 I Booked a ticket with Scoot Air, 520€, they cancelled it due to Covid 19 and would only give me a voucher credit. When I used the voucher to pay for short/cheaper flight a year later, they didn’t credit me difference. After 3 years of one sided complaint they now have responded by saying the original terms of the credit have expired! Total bunch of thieves…never uses them, uses Air Asia or Cebu Pacific instead
I wish I seen this video b4 I took my first flight with spirit and yes I was disappointed big time and my flight was 4 hrs long. I refuse to fly with them for long periods of time due to the lack of comfort. My return flight was with jet blue and it was a big difference made my flight home very nice and comfortable. I decided to fly spirit on short trips only. 2 hrs max jet blue ticket was only $35 more than spirit. You spend that on all the crap you buy on spirit soda, wifi, snacks, luggage, seats you don't save.
This was my first time flying with Spirit Airlines. I booked a flight with Sprits to save a few dollars not knowing I ended up with an awful experience. The agent at the gate would not allowed me to board the plane. She said my small crossbody purse is consider a third baggage, and I needed to put the purse inside my carry on. I told I have no room in my carry on bag to put the purse. I told her then I will paid $99 for the carry on bag and she told me I needed to check the bag at one of Spirt Airlines counters , go to security check point process again, and by that time my flight had left the gate. Meantime, she was charging other passenger their debit / credit card for carrying baby strollers, boots and a Jewish guy for carrying a larger black hat. I told her I was never going to flight with Spirt again, and they got very upset. I empty my purse inside my carry on and throw out the purse in the trash. She started laughing. Finally, she decided to let me aboard the plane, and I was last one in. The seating arrangement were very uncomfortable, no space under seat except to put one your feet. They're were only selling bottles of water $4, sodas and not even coffee or snacks. It old school military plane with seats. Everyone like to save money. In my honest opinion, Spirts should try to improve their services, and keep their costumers happy. The only way they will improve if people stop booking any flights with them. They have been better and also affordable Airlines in past and they have all gone out of business for poor customers services. For those who travel light with back pack,, I'm quite sure they wear the same clothes for days and weeks.
They keep forcing me to keep my money, I got a ticket for $19 from Seattle to Las Vegas for 2 days of debauchery and then $41 to St Louis to visit family for 4 days, unfortunately I have to fly Alaska back to Seattle $ 119,, it is below there normal so I can't complain but it is definitely double what spirit cost.
Doing well. Thank you for responding to me. I'll be awaiting those videos. I have a lot of anxiety about flying and your videos help, believe it or not! Be well always!
The airline is targeting costumers with limite budget. They doesn’t care is the costumers are unhappy. If Passengers want good service, choose another Airline.
Thanks for checking up! Yes still alive and around, ha just took a break from the channel due to other priorities. Will get back with a few more soon! Thanks for the support! :)
Hey, you mentioned you checked in your hand luggage as it was over weight... where you already having two pieces of check-in luggage? or is that the only luggage that you carried.?
I really appreciate your comprehensive and thorough review. The best economy review I’ve seen yet for Emirates. I will be flying from Singapore to Dubai in economy class. I was a little nervous, as I’m combining premium cabins with the economy for a better rate round-trip rate from LAX to Singapore. And thank you for the tremendous views of Greenland! 👏🏻 Great job, Sir.
Glad you liked it and found the review helpful! Hope you have an amazing trip onboard emirates- with the service onboard, even their economy cabins definitely feel more premium compared to other airlines! Thanks for watching! :)
Are you an American citizen or Indian? I have an upcoming flight through CDG and I nervous about if I need a Paris transit visa to catch my flight to Delhi.
I’m Indian- I was curious about the same thing- didn’t need the visa to transit- but I have a U.S. visa - if you’re transiting to another Schengen country, you’d need a Schengen visa, on my trip from LA to Delhi, I didn’t get asked for a transit visa; I would just check the current relegations though as they can sometimes change! Happy travels! 🙌
Are you sure the meat was ham? "Just for information: there is no way to get non-halal meat in Turkey, because all the slaughter houses observe halal procedures. Turkish Airlines do not serve pork products, although alcohol IS served."
I took Scoot 787 to Korea from Singapore and T'Way budget airline of korea because I missed my flight coming back to Singapore. So, I went to book a last minute flight on T'Way that same day that was bound for Singapore Scoot seats were in a 3-3-3 seating configuration I was alone travelling and sat next to a couple legroom was ok but seats were very cramped I couldn't even put my arm on the arm rest for fear of touching my neighbour because I got the window seat. T'Way was a Airbus A330 with free usb charging port, Scoot had a 3 pin plug underneath their seats but for SGD $9 so I declined. T'Way seating configuration was a 2-4-2 configuration seating and I took the window seats because I love watching takeoff and landing. Thank you for this video. Scoot even wanted to charge me $3 SGD for a cup of water because I drank up all my water inside my bottle
Oh wow, sorry to hear about your poor experience with scoot, yeah they’re definitely a very low cost carrier! I hope to check out T’Way someday! Thanks for watching :)
I had a great trip on flight TK180 LAX to IST great customer service and good economy seat, But on my trip back i paid an Extra $169 per a better Seat on the TK179 that was a 787 and due to a full cabin i had a nice guy sit next to me that was super Big and i was not able to eat due to the discomfort but the Crew was super nice, they offered me food in the Galley, i stood but it was better than eating at my seat, after Breakfast it was time to rest, i was not able to rest due to the nice guy falling asleep on me, oh well! again the crew was super nice, before we landed with the last meal they offered me a Business class seat to eat my meal in a little more comfort, they all apologized for the inconvenience, the head purser addressed me by my name as i belong to Star Alliance Gold status, so he had me stay at this seat until the 90 minutes we had left on the flight, again great Crew and flight.
Glad to hear about your good experience, and sorry to hear about the troublesome neighbor! Good to hear that the crew was proactive as well! :) Thanks for watching! :)
Thank you! - and yes, your videos are helpful!! This is my first time traveling to Europe and on Turkish & I'm trying to decide if I should buy an exit row. I'm tall for a girl (5'10) and my legs get in the way Lol@@nsuresh91
@@JenniferClaudeMusic The legroom wasn't too spacious, and I really got lucky coz I didn't have anyone sitting next to me, so allowed me to stretch out -- if its a longer flight, and you dont want to risk having someone sit next to you, maybe its worth the upgrade -- but for a shorter flight, it should be fine
