Pittsburgh, 1975. Edward Borman, a lowly government office drone, finds himself trapped, when the deadly men of Mercury seize his office building as a staging ground for their nefarious plot. Aided by Jack Yaeger, a daring aerospace engineer from a mysterious organization known as "The League," Edward must stop the invaders and their doomsday device, the Gravity Engine.
Drawing from the same retro serials that inspired such films as Star Wars and Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark, The Mercury Men reintroduces audiences to the great mystery, danger, and suspense the stories were originally known for. The series consists of 10 online episodes, each approximately 7 minutes in length.
Alongside each episode of the series, additional story, media, behind-the-scenes features, and digital props are available for viewers to decipher the mysteries surrounding The Mercury Men.
This is an awesome camera, lighting and editing work! The special effects are so simple and yet the result is almost magical! Great story, also! Even the ending titles are a work of art by themselves alone! Excellent work!! Bravo!!
Even in 2024 this is the true definition of how to make a video even without speech Im very suprised! By this short film very well acting the only thing i did not understand is was it his wife or his mom? Overall good job!
This concept has all the makings of a captivating full-length film. Imagine the layers of intrigue, character depth, and unexpected twists that could unfold on screen-how thrilling would that be?
After the monster expose, where it shows us the apparitions dissolve if they touch the light, I thought the story would end where he finds his loved one, (I thought it was his love, not his mom), and as he walks to her, he trips and falls, stabbing her with the light as he goes down. And then it ends as she slowly disappears, and he screams in agony having lost his loved one once again. But to be honest, I love this ending way more. The entire thing was way better than any of the crap coming out of Hollywood these days.
