Very interesting the gear you're using. I live in Sydney and they've closed down most of the old venues, because of all the "nimbys", At 70 yo I wander where we are going to play anymore? And the whole of Australia seems to have gone this way
I saw John Cordy post that about the wireless. I need to do the same, as I like true single coils but the noise can be annoying and it seems so simple to just break the connection via a wireless setup. Touring for me looks the same these days, FM3, guitar and IEM’s. Have a great time in Italy. Sounds superb

Mr Harris, I've been using 16th note R/H strumming patterns 1e+a 2e+a 3e+a and so on. Is there anything beyond this for Funk guitarists? Can anyone point me in the right direction? Your Making Chords Smaller video was superb 👍
At first I felt like the lyrics didn’t fit the vibe of the melody/chord progression, but then it gets to the fifth bar of the chorus makes it feel like there’s a reason to run away. The first 4 bars in which he says “I just want to run away” the music feels too positive to wanna runaway. Hmm. It’s interesting to say the least. Love Jamiroquai seen you few times.
Good lord, I'm stunned each time you're talking about the recording setup! I just spent the last 25 years thinking there were crazy compressors, effects chains, amps... but no. It's a Line6 Pod for "Little L" and here we have a straight DI through a crappy interface! Sometimes simple things are just what works best!

Great set up! That Electric Mistress is a bit of a revelation for me . . . I always avoided flangers, they just seemed a bit OTT but this one has a subtlety to it that really is more of a chorus! Back then I read somewhere he was using a Roland Dimension D rack-mount and I was doing a bit of demoing for Roland so grabbed one from them (still have it) and I think it's plausible - maybe in the studio? FWIW I tried the Boss Dimension C for pedal set-up but ended up with the MXR Analog Chorus - dead simple but beautiful understated vibe. Thanks for the vid - really informative.
It feels like a privilege to have these great songs taught by the artist who created them! I really love how a song can be so simple and complex at the same time. I love the chorus where you just play a C... and Rob Harris can still make it sound great!

When you absolutely gotta kill every m********r in the room, accept no alternative, the EHX Electric Mistress. If... you need cheap and especially touring compact, specifically for the Electric Mistress, try the Boss HF2, or the Boss BF3 (but not the Boss BF2). I use the Boss BF3 mostly now because of its compact versatility. Another tip for Andy Summers, is run the Electric Mistress into a Chorus.... originally the EM went into a Roland JC120. Works bang on for Walking On The Moon.
I'm a Jazz 3 man all the way! When I found the Jazz 3 XL's, I threw away all my other picks - except the regular "little ones." Have you found a difference between the red or black ones?" Some people say there's a slight difference. If there is, it's so slight, in my opinion.
I’m with you on the Jazz111’s. I’m so used to them. I tried some alternatives this past week actually. Just felt weird. I haven’t tried the black ones yet.
