10 years later. Sotfs edition. (Dont know if that matters.) I have 1434 health (no hollowing and with a fat juicy full health bar) (with convenant of blue ring, +0 basic life ring and +0 steel protection ring equipped) , no armor or weapons equipped and without the fall damage reduction ring equipped) I can survive the initial fall. With only around 100 health or so left. Not sure that the steel protection ring helped in any way even though it reduces physical damage. Hope this helps someone.
