Can’t wait for these to come in. Their actuation force and bottom force look to pretty much match my nx snow’s exactly so i can have a travel keyboard that will match my typing experience closely to my setup at home. 😁
its not an AIO in the traditional sense.. it still needs to be connected to radiator via tubes and fittings.. In custom water cooling loops the CPU block, reservoir and pump are separate. This combines these 3 parts into one
Apologies for late reply... lately i haven't shipped a mobile using any of these forwarders.. but I have heard/read about people being charged battery surcharge... so it's better you call them directly and ask for the latest charges.. they keep changing....
Nice review! Do you know if the newest EK CR240 would be better than kraken X53? I'm looking with one without rgb, no bloatware and lowest pump noise for a 13600k.
I have personally not tested the cr240s but from the reviews I've seen I'd say yeah it should be better or on par with x53.. and should be able to cool the 13600k very well
@@ronstechreviews Thanks for your answer. I might go for this one, they have a BF sale at the moment wich make it a bit cheaper than X53. Do you see any other interesting competition in 240mm?
The new Lian Li Galahad II Trinity Performance should perform quite well.. In terms of warranty and RMA claims, Nzxt are the best.. they just give u a new one in most cases no question asked if their aio fails.. ek should be pretty much the same but I don't have any proof.. Lian Li would be harder from what I know, their customer support isn't well set up like EK or NZXT
@@ronstechreviews Yeah Galahad II seems a good performer but I think it looks a bit cheap. I bought the CR240 from EK Amazon sale in EU, we'll see! Will add noctua fans on it probably, should be nice.
My question is, if it fails and the led stays on, what do I do then? Do I simply unplug the usb drive or the 24 pin? Or do I have to do something before that to avoid bricking the mobo? Asking for a Crosshair 8 Dark Hero, I've got the latest bios on an MBR usb drive, but not sure what to do in case it fails
If BIOS light stays on without blinking then it means the MB cannot read that USB stick. For this matter just turn off the power and remove stick. it's safe to remove your USB when this happens. This happens when USB version mismatch, file naming issues or file errors. Make sure to use a "USB 2.0" stick for this task. new sticks like 3.0, 3.1 are not compatible for this task. :)
@@sl_razor Thank you for the answer. Happly enough, the flashback went smooth as butter on the first try. A lot of stress on my end though, mostly because, that night, when I started the flashback itself, it started storming pretty heavy outside. All the time I was "do not cut off my power"
if you're thinking of getting the milky yellows just get the gateron gpro 3.0s for just a tiny bit more. theremingoat has them rated as the #2 linear switch and they are probably the best standard linear switch on the market.
I personally prefer gateron yellow g pro. These have 3.6mm travel and 1.5mm actuvation. in theory they are speed switches, akin to gateron speed, and akko speed switches. They're great for gaming. But if ur not use to 3.6mm travel just get a regular switch.
From what I see .. Hermes official site delivers to UAE address.. you could use shopnship UAE warehouse address to save on shipping to Qatar.. as it's cheaper rates per kilo from UAE than USA or EU countries
I am going crazy here, I am doing exactly as you are saying and the record button does not work, it works with my xt3 but not with this fuji . ran out of guesses as what might be happening.
do you know if this block works with AM5? I guess those longer screws for AM4 is used with the same screw that came with the normal screws package? what are the normal spring package for? AM3 maybe?
This is SO helpful.. thanks.. I'm kind of bummed that just the USB-USB tethered cable won't allow control by DJI, but it is what it is? I'll look to order the cable!
what will i do ARAMEX stated that i need to update my address they cant locate it. but my address is correct .. now my package is still with them. they dont have branches here in israel only in Palestine.
Download the Aramex app on your mobile.. sign in... Search and Add the Tracking number of package (if package not already shown in your account)... Then you'll see option to have it delivered or collected.. choose delivery.. then use the map pointer to mark your address.. After all that you would receive the package in a day or two
There is some slight stem wobble but the box stem keeps it kinda to a minimum.. and to my feel there is hardly any housing wobble .. you can pretty much run it stock without the need to film it
@@ronstechreviews Thanks. I have some jwick black V2s.. and the housing is tight, but the stem is wobbly. As far as i know, filming switches helps the housing wobble. So, what can I do?
For 13600k any of those coolers will be fine.. u can choose based on what appearance and other part in the system u got.. for example if you gonna build a all black no rgb PC, then choose EK.. if u gonna gonna have various Corsair parts in your system then go Corsair and so on
Thanks .. I've been feeling kinda low thinking of my content if it's any good and should I be going on making new ones .. this is both a kick in the butt and reassureance I should making new content
I got the controller for showing you guys what contains in it if you but it separately and to show ppl like me who has the Strimer V1 can buy this and use L-connect3 with their Stimer V1 just like I ended up doing
Just screw down diagonally (X pattern) until u feel some resistance.. then just do half a turn on each screw .. after that I just tightened until it wouldn't turn anymore with a reasonable turning force .. just don't use too much force to tighten, you'll be fine .. the springs kinda ensure people don't overtighten and enough pressure is applied equally over the IHS.. so you should be ok
I also swapped the included screws with another set,, I find them easier to hand tighten s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DkT0y1b It's not a necessary buy u can use the included screws with the cooler if u ain't planning to remove and install the block frequently
The unit I reviewed had these cables as shown in the video.. i believe (pointed to me by a viewer) they have silently released a new version under the same name, which has a usb2.0 cable so that it reads the CPU temps via software. The SATA power cable is just to provide additional power in case your motherboard header is unable to run all the rgb leds in my model
Did you download the software? Half the bad reviews I read said that the display doesn't work and the other half of the reviews said it was too big, I figured the reviewers were dumb. I just got one and the last page of the instruction manual says to download the temp monitoring software.
Well my unit didn't have any usb cable just argb, SATA power, and pwm fan cables (as I shown in my video).. I guess they made a silent revision.. possibly after seeing my review (jk hehe) 😜
@@ronstechreviews hmm, these seem to vary a lot. Mine has the same name but different metal tubing and a solid polished plate that meets the CPU. No wonder the reviews are all over, I read one complaining about the 3 cables(guy had no room) and mine had 4.
To make the most out of the 10700k, I'd suggest to go to at least a 280mm aio.. however it would be fine if you already own a 240mm aio and want to save some cash.. if you don't care about how the aio looks, then go for the artic liquid freezer II 280/360mm.. if you want that looks cool and still has reliable performance EK Nucleus AIO or the NZXT kraken whichever is available for you to purchase
@@ronstechreviews I ended up getting the Corsair iCUE H100i ELITE CAPELLIX Liquid CPU Cooler 240mm.. I'm getting 35idle temps and 45-50 when playing FFXIV on max at 144fps 1080p.
Hi! I just got Fuji X -S10 with Dji RoninSC2, but my Gimble 's recording button cant control the camera for video but only taking pics. Already checked connection, set to video filming mode. If you know there is anything i need set up with my camera or it s my gimble "s problem? Thanks!
I believe you are doing everything right.. it's just sometime for some people it just doesn't work .. mine did start working with the usb c cable .. then it stopped .. I believe the compatibility just isn't perfect between the gimbal and xs10.. Fuji cameras do have this issue .. seems like Sony cameras are the best in this regard being very open with 3rd party manufacturers when it comes to lenses and gimbals and other accessories
Hi!!!! Whats the Specs on ur G Skill Royal Z 128gb??? I Purchased the 128gb Royal Z 4000mhz! (F4-4000C18Q-128GTRS) and doesnt work! constant Crashes. my Setup Formula Viii x570, Ryzen 9 3950x ,4tb Sabrent Rocket m.2, MSI 2080ti trio. Fully EK Quantum Velocity Waterblocked. I'd Love to get The same Ram if I Can get it to Work!!!!
Hi, sorry to hear that... Mines the 32gb 3600mhz CL14 kit.. I was checking the qvl for the motherboard and seems like your kit is not in the list .. however mine ain't also but I have been able to overclock it to 3800mhz at same CL14.. Ryzen CPUs are generally most compatible with 3600mhz as the sweet spot.. your dual rank dual channel quad kit is probably too much for the CPU memory controller to handle at 4000 MHz .. I'd suggest you try downloading and running DRAM Calculator for Ryzen by 1usmus ... There are guides on RU-vid on how to use this software.. it probably could calculate the timings and speed your kit can run for your system to be stable.. so try this software
I'd say avoid it ... RGB u can just control with your mobo software or bootpage.. and temperature is not gonna be smart one.. meaning software won't matter as the cooler does not have any usb connection and the only way it's getting the temperature reading is from a thermocouple attached to the coldpate of the cooler..
Great reviews. I want buy one DxRacer Air Pro Black, but its not available in Europe. Will be soon in 2023. And where I can find or buy connector power cable into GPU and MB ? Like your white with blue LED. Thank you :) You have nice set :)
The power cables u are asking about in my system is the Lian Li Strimer Plus... However there is a newer model the Strimer Plus V2... I have made a video on it on my channel.. so u can check that out 😊
No you don't need to plug the 3pin argb cable go the motherboard.. it will work just via Lian Li software as long as u connect the lconnect3 box to the usb2.0 header on the motherboard..
Unfortunately, the cooler ain't available locally where I'm at.. so couldn't get a unit to review on.. however from what I know so far from other reviews.. the phanteks glacier cooler is pretty good so u won't regret the purchase of that's the cooler u like
i have this thing. the pump inside is actually a D5. i literally ground it to a halt to i'm now looking for a replacement impeller. i bought a XSPC D5 pump but the impeller protrudes too far out (the barrow pump is low profile), so i cannot use it :/
Really, it's a D5? Cuz of its size I am pretty sure it is a DDC pump.. I did look it up now it is a DDC.. I did find another model which has the same pump and it mentions it's a DDC pump
@Rons Tech Reviews i didn't know it had a D5 in it until i opened it a few days ago. at least mine does - the cpu block+pump+reservior combo with a display
God why these Chinese manufacturers have such poor documentation... Hehe I was gonna replace mine with ekwb DDC pump when it fails.. so far so good.. it hasn't failed till now.. so haven't opened it up completely to check mine yet if it's DDC or D5
@Rons Tech Reviews ignore me. i just watched one of JayzTwoCents videos where he disassembles a DDC pump and it has that low-profile impeller i need for my barrow! all this time i thought the whole half-globe impeller design is specific to D5. now i'm finding out that part of the design is the same for both. makes sense now - the D5 by XSPC i order thinking i'd be able to replace the impeller, it is all together a much bulkier design than what's in the barrow piece.
sorry I missed your comment. 139000k with a 240mm cooler is gonna be hard on the AIO... however you I'd say go for the newer EKWB Nucleus AIO CR240 or the ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II 240.. I haven't tested these, but from other reviews I'd say you should be fine with them.
You’d have been better of staying with the AMD machine as the gains are minimal at best… The new generations of both platforms offered a lot of MHz but really no actual performance gains. I built a new machine in the mesh room case and just maxed out the DDR4 and upgraded the processor to the 5800x3D. It performs as well and saves me the money. To each there own, just a warning to all the newbies out there. Don’t bankrupt yourself on this new generation. Once the shiny wears off you will regret it!
Oh I am still using my AMD PC.. as I mentioned this is just my dream machine was to go small form factor PC... Don't worry I am still rocking my 5900x and 6900xt pc and have no plans to upgrade for at least a couple of generations.. the PC built in this video was later sold by the local PC store where I got the parts from here in Qatar.. it's just that they have me an option to build my dream pc and that they will sell of under my name (no monetary exchange or incentive for me or them)
Ahh.. TDP of 5900x is 105W.. however since I have done an all core overclock the actual CPU package power during testing is 150W.. so kind of an extreme stress test case.. in essence this cooler will handle most CPUs easily.. I wouldn't suggest this cooler or even most other air coolers for the latest high end Ryzen 9 and Intel i9 CPUs
