Pretty cool you should experiment with different size and material bridges I think thin and tall with a nice hard wood could make it louder and sound out better.

Looks and sounds divine. Good to see you playing banjo again. Your version of corn shucking jig from like 10 years ago was revolutionary when I found it, such a genuine feel. I have been building banjos and have my gourd garden prepping for next year.

Do you build whips just for yourself or do you build for others? Are you self taught?

I've been hanging out with a set for a few days now and getting an even sound seems like a superhuman feat. Eight months you say? that's good to hear

Good to see you making videos again, hadn’t seen any in a while! I was wondering, are either of those pirogues fiberglassed? I’ve got a 13’ pirogue I built couple years back w/ no glass just paint, seems to hold up alright.

I did fiberglass the first one that you saw on the porch but it was already too late by the time I had fiberglass it

Whenever it’s made with solid wood they hold up better much better than plywood

Steadiness much better than last time I heard you, cool. Could still work on a gentler attack on the bellows. Also don't forget the drones, distracting when they are out of tune. Very impressed with the fingering after such a short time, and of course your previous music means the music itself Was not going to be the learning challenge.
