I hiked up the Fire Road (11 km) from teh parking lot and did the Alpine ciecuit..but i would not do the Alpine circuit in Winter...Too much exposure and scary.
Hi, would I be missing out a lot if I do not go to the weather station and go counterclockwise right to the true summit and back? I'm taking some engagement photos and my photographer insists this is easier (in/out) to summit but I don't want to miss out on any views. Are the views at the true summit and ridgeline walking towards it just as nice as those if i were to go clockwise and do a full loop?
Great Video. Lake O’Hara ist Phantastic! In 2019 I hiked from the parking place to the lake and back. I needed 10 hours with a break at the lake. Wonderful nature. The road was not in good conditions. But it was a great day for me! Greetings from Germany!
Yo I want to do thi shike in a weak. I am a relatively strong hiker can cover 30+ km a day but I am somewhat afraid of scrmables... How hard is scramble...
This is the best trip I had so far, the longest and hardest at the same time. This video gave it justice. I watched many times, and will go back to it whenever I feel down. My wife also loved it... my nephew, though, asked if you and I left earth to film this. I think this the highest praise for a hiking video you could ever get!
