This scene of him singing & playing this song should have been much longer imo. I'd love to see him really play the piano and sing like Billy Joel or Elton John. He's covered their songs on his albums. Always thought Harry was a cutie.
My father voluntarily enlisted to serve in the US ARMY in 1966, he was sent to Fort Polk, Louisiana for training and then was sent to Fort Campbell Kentucky to serve in the 101st Airborne, then he was sent to Vietnam at the beginning of 1967 where him and his brothers in arms fought on Hamburger Hill and other places!!
I have no doubt in my mind that the Arrow would still be in frontline service with obvious avionics and weapons upgrades! An absolute travesty that all those people that worked on and in support of that project lost their jobs as the result of the cancellation! The images at the beginning of your work are particularly disturbing to me and I hold all of those responsible with great contempt and disdain.
I amin the process of converting the 2D drawings of the Arrow into a 3D model in the animation program blender. I am on my 16th attempt and I finally worked out the major problem of the scaling of the drawings.
The arrow was the last gasp of Canada as an independent nation. And here we are now as America's major lapdog: truely the biggest bananna republic in the world.
Thank you to the ones who served in vietnam. I had two cousins that served and an uncle that served and had a few weeks before he retired. But did not make it back home
Their average age was 19 years of age and they suffered the highest casualties (66%) of any unit or branch of the US Military in WWII. They paradoxically also had the highest morale. (This was documented by studies in and after the war They knew that they had to destroy the German war machine if we were to win this war. They were part of that "Greatest Generation; God Bless them all!
Loved it... But watching this now knowing what we do about hollyweird, it's so sad to realize most of these people were part of and responsible for just about the sickest cult of abuse that has ever existed in this world. I think it's time to let go of our illusions.
Best comedy’s, awesome teen movies, scariest horror movies and icons, unstoppable action movies and characters, interesting thrillers. Everything was new and fresh.
I consider myself hardcore. I almost never cry. I shed some tears. At least they got to see eachother again. That meant everything. I will appreciate their sacrifice forever. Oh my god it breaks my heart. Peace and love people. The world needs it so badly.
just got hold of the memphis belle-soundtrack, boy, was I happy when it said on the cover 'incl. danny boy' but, well, what can I say: It's not this version but some shitty, over-the-top-mixed poppy-gospel-what ever-version, couldn't stand it more than 20 seconds....oh dear
Loved it thanks for putting a smile on my face this morning you guys. I appreciate it very much miss that decade especially on October 16 1988, unfortunately that morning was when I lost my mom vassa. She died from a brain aneurysm in her sleep at 38 years old and I was 16 years old and found her dead. Miss her much :(
@Energetic Coach its OK coach I appreciate that, no one is perfect I was born with a whole in my heart back on July 15 1972 in Toronto Ontario Canada and had open heart surgery when I was 4 years old now at 49 years old I'm devorced with no kids and a stroke and cardiac arrest survivor which both my cat Nemo and my now ex wife Angy saved my life, which is a long story. Better now use a cane for balance when I'm outside walking around and have a defibulator in my chest. Life goes on. Be safe and have a good night sir or madam. Sincerely Peter
Above all else; their true love story touched me the most. That’s a real partnership and I just adore watching this. Every time I may go through a glitch, I’m reminded of them and what marriage really is about. She was as strong as he during his horrific captivity. God bless them
If you're in the air force and you haven't seen this movie yet consider it heritage and buy this. Right now. I might have technically been the army Air corps but this is air force heritage right here. This movie is gold and you need to watch it. Now.
I wish he would at least record it now. I thought I was going to marry him when this movie came out, I bought all of his albums...I was 12. He's the sweetest thing to ever come out of Louisiana other than beignets. That voice <3
My father is a Canadian USMC Vietnam vet who served two tours definitely brings a tear to my eye for what those lads and families had to indure . I served and deployed like my Pops but just watching this documentary and scene just appreciate my Dad came home .
