Beauty through the lens of Continuous Improvement. Making wise purchases, with purpose and intent. We all work hard for our money and should only invest in the best performing products. As new technology and innovation arise, I integrate and "study" them with specific goals in mind associated with their given claims. I collect data and make decisions about keeping or discarding products based on how well they meet goals. Plus, I love cosmetics! So this is a labor of love and personal research with the ultimate goal of curating a final cut (although it will probably never be final) of outstanding quality products that deliver. I hope that my experiences can help to inform your future purchases.
Why oh why did they stop the compact gel foundation in the uk, I have the le. Blanc brightening gentle touch compact and cannot get it in UK and the stopped doing the les beiges compact. So disappointed . I love Chanel generally . Echo the issues with No1 being chalky on my dry mature skin but it looked great in my younger wrinkle free daughter
Hello Grace. You are doing everything right. But the best for your skin is Tretinoin. Have been using it for years. What it does tu the texture of your skin is amazing. I use retinA 0.01%. I don’t think it will eliminate deep wrinkles but it sure helps. 😊😊😊
I live in Canada and AFAIK I would need to pay import duty. However, Holt Renfrew has a sale in July and in December and your guide would be helpful for those sales.
Thanks so much for this video it was so helpful and educational. I haven’t seen anyone really talk about this brand in such detail and I’m excited to try products from them! Beautiful youthful look ❤️
You think the shade Wheat in the Just Skin tinted moisturizer same as the shade Shea in the Future Skin gel foundation? My perfect shade is Shea in the future skin and want to try tinted moisturizer.
Yay, been waiting for this sale! I usually just get what I need or stock up on everyday items! It is always a good time to try something new. Thank you so much for sharing with us! Have a wonderful week!!
I think that the Les Beiges foundation is better for normal dehydrated skin (dehydrated is not the same as dry skin). I have extremely dry skin and I remember that this foundation was just sitting on top of my skin, emphasizing dry flakes, sliding around and never setting. I prefer the No 1 de Chanel because it contains camellia oils and therefore works better for me, especially in the winter because it nourishes the skin and forms almost like an protective barrier around my skin with the gel-like formula ☺
Lovely as always, Grace! Don’t know if you’re allowed to say but waiting to make some Chantecaille purchases wondering if they’re going to have the Sylvie birthday sale I guess it would be this weekend, right???
❤️ thank you ❤️ great question ☺️ you sound like a true Chantecaille fan 🥳 the sale usually happens around the same time every year - so keep an eye on this space 🤫😉😁…
Grace, I love the natural look using very little makeup. That’s great the Chantecaille concealer covers your melasma I’ll have to try it. Your skin has a nice glow! 😊❤️
Hi Grace, You look great and I prefer a more natural look as well.🙂 VBB Trench is great for your skin tone. Maybe you have a recommendation for people with light skin tone. 😁 I love Chantecaille Future Skin foundation.. I live in Australia and that sunscreen from Sisley is “just” $460. I think everyone can find a better option for a sunscreen.. When I will have a lot of money and no idea how to spend I might buy the sunscreen from Sisley for luxury sunscreen experience.😂 Thanks for sharing! 🙂
❤️ thank you! 😄 I agree the Sisley SPF is the most luxurious SPF I’ve tried and I’m definitely on the hunt for something similar. I love the combination of a few key qualities in this that are difficult to find - brightening, minimal white cast, non-greasy. Usually one of those is missing - so I’ve got my eyes open for that type of product 🌟
❤️ the one I’m holding? Oh gosh 😁 I have 3 of the latest in light coral, medium coral & medium rose gold 😄 I also have a couple of shades in the quilted version 🌟
I love this softer look not only on you but on myself as well. It is fast and easy and I am not in the mood for full glam in the summer unless there is an important place I need to be. Thank you for sharing this slightly different soft look and I am enjoying the Future Skin Foundation too! Have a great upcoming week!!
I have both dermatologica and love them . I do have a question on the mask .. do you put it on and then just use water and a washcloth to remove it ?? And where in your skin care do you do the mask at night time . Thanks 😘
😄 I love it! So many dedicated Chantecaille fans here ❤️❤️❤️ Typically the Chantecaille sale happens around this time annually and I’ve also been given an early access code in the past 😉 so make sure to watch this space - closely 🤫☺️😉
Yes I highly recommend that discovery set from MFK, best investment. Each sample has quite a bit, and allows you time to try each fragrance multiple times, and even different seasons to see which ones you like and when. There’s only one of the eight that I don’t love
No prob! If you’re undecided, likely the sales rep will be happy to let you sleep the scents that come in the set before purchasing. Now that I think about, seasons aside, there are many different scents that I like in that set for different moods even - it’s fun to have such a variety. And the quality is top notch - long-lasting and no headaches :)
I have more dry skin and want to love the sublimage original in the jar because I bought it, but it’s just not looking hydrating for me. I’m determined to make it work. Maybe I’ll let it sit longer and see if it works better
I really like the more natural/every day look on you. This type of look helps to highlight our natural beauty. It is always fun and creative to try new cosmetics, but the every day look is just more practical and quite elegant,........IMO. Thanks for your work on this great content.
Love the look of the "no makeup" and no eye shadow. I will do a little concealer on the top of my eye lids to cancel out the veining, usually don't need any on the bottom because I don't have dark circles. I do have one vein under each eye and will use concealer on those occasionally. Thank you for sharing your June favs and have a wonderful upcoming week!!
Hi Grace! I hope you get results from Trinity! I purchased the entire package with attachments but honestly, I didn’t see any lasting results - same with the red light mask. They didn’t hurt, but nor did I see a measurable improvement. I too prefer sheer products - and I purchased the rose and tan pots from Chantecaille when the bundle was 30% off. Just too messy for me - which is also my problem with Future Skin. So I mainly stick to Chanel when I want to wear foundation. Keep us posted on your results ❤
