On my channel you will see how I save old car models from oblivion. I am happy when I can give them a new life. Watch my videos and subscribe, you definitely won't be bored.
Your first resto is my all time FAVORITE Matchbox/diecast. I had one when it was new as a 7 year old Gen-Xer kid. This looks amazing! If I could, I'd buy it from you or send MINE to you to restore! Instant SUB! Keep these coming, please!
Ta biała ciecz, to płyn do tworzenia ochronnego i realistycznego połysku na obszarach, na których został zastosowany, głównie oczywiście tworzywa. Uwydatnia jednolite, "szklane" wykończenie.
@@littlethingsrestoration Not really honestly. You have many people subscribed for a new channel with few uploads. I like the Pontiac Firebird Trans-am you restored.
Nice work. May I suggest wet sanding after a coat of primer to smooth out the primer & body, then prime it a second time before putting the base color on?
Very well done it would look even more nicer if u painted or colored in the detail, lights, back lights, door door handles etc.... that's only my opinion.
4:45 what abrasive do you use for sandblasting? 10:51 what is this white liquid? I like this green Porsche. It has been in my collection for over 40 years. Now saved. In nice condition. Just without the box.
Very good restoration. Many of this casting have broken A pillars. Colours Red, orange, yellow can be hard to completely remove just with caustic soda, and as you have done a sand/soda blaster works great. I used to use a glass jar/container with the caustic soda bath and found that the glass jar/container used would crack or break very quickly. I now use a clear thick plastic food storage container when stripping paint with caustic soda. I also put the caustic soda in the container first, then the casting, then add the boiling hot water a little at a time. This way I can control the caustic soda /hot water reaction far better than adding the caustic soda after the hot water and hopefully it doesn't spill out of the container. All the best cheers Michael
