I'm confused on this video. Are you calibrating the ring gage with the set plug or are you testing the set plug with the ring gage. Probably needed more props for this demo to be effective.

Good tutorial but I think you left out the 2 in 20.62115 which is 3.934. A length of 20.6115 results in the 3.9329 that you calculated in the video. I kept thinking I was doing something wrong because I didn't arrive at the same numbers. On a whim, I put in the 20.6115 number and came up with the same answer that you did. Since your digital protractor showed that you were well short of 11 degrees, I would surmise that you missed a number on your calculator. Thank you for reminding me that even the experts are prone to human error. One good thing about it, I got a lot of practice trying to figure out why my numbers were different.

great video, but one thing need to be clear, the plug gage should be checked with internal thread parts, the ring gauges should be checked with external threaded parts. it is not good to fix the plug gages and ring gages together. gaugestools's gages are all like these, ring gauges are solid, plug gages are double ends with handle
