Heaps round the northern beaches mouths at the moment too mate. Few of them as long as my hand. Mate pulled a nice juvenile groper this morning where you dropped that big baz on surface in that mouth the other day. Seen a big croc 4m+ swimming from there towards Maggie too this morning.
@@benny82ish oh is there! Might have to check it out. How big was the juvenile groper? That spot has potential for some good Barra to catch on live bait at night if you can get the right tides. I’m always on the lookout for crocs there because I’ve seen a slide, perfect small creek for a big croc
Why are you doing this? 😠 They belong there - we are just visitors. I know you are going to fish, but acting like this is simply NOT ok. The fish - they belong to the sharks or other fish. You are just doing this for fun and not to survive.

I was going to say that too. I used to have a great big cast net when I lived in FNQ. It took ages to get it to expand when cast. I eventually got used to it. That was certainly a nice cast.
thanks for watching mate. You can use a variety of lures to target barra. We are having a lot of luck with the Samaki Live Shrimp 127mm and the Molix RT shads at the moment. Just depends what area you are targeting the barra in.
You know where all the roos hang out ross river (salt side) annandale/aitkenvale secontion i see them scooting across all the time. But then again ive seen crazy people swim there also

Hey mate that big boof was awesome, the bigger ones do stalk the mouth whereas all the pups lately have been hugging the rocks. Still fun but i stopped going there cause of all the baby barra. Bring on summer 🤙🏽
About the same as my hook up rate on the single hook softy, I've changed to softies with a treble at the bottom and my catch rate has gone up big time. berkely shimma pro is the go to. cheers.
