Welcome to The Weekly Flick Fishing. Join me on my Kayak as I adventure out to the waters in Sydney and Greater NSW on a mission to find some fantastic fighting fish. When it comes to fishing, Sydney has a lot to offer. My favourite species to catch are Kingfish, Bonito and Snapper, all of which I like to target with jigs. I try to keep my content authentic and engaging and where I can, I offer tips and tricks on how I catch fish. If you enjoy what you see, please subscribe to my channel!
Hey mate, is your go too long bay Malabar? I’m a newbie with all the gear and no idea. Looking for a spot to fish which includes catching livies and opportunities to go towards mouth and fish for snapper if water is flat calm lol I have a pro angler 12
There's a few spots in Syd you could do that but yes that spot is golden! Need to be super careful though, no westerly wind and don't go out when swell is over 1m :)
Ah yes I remember seeing you guys! Unlucky..my mate in the blue hobie had a similar experience that day. 60g nomad streaker does me wonders in that spot!
@@TheWeeklyFlick Jig size matters. We headed to Botany Bay the other day. I donut again on 30g metal, but my dad caught 4 king on Sabiki rigs… life is not fair
The filefish you caught seems to have fat liver inside which is super delicious by the way. It's very interesting to see those similar species to what we catch here in Japan.
Hai.. Teman 🎉 Luar Biasa trip mancing nya, mengunakan kayak.. Saya akan mengikuti petualangan mancing mu teman. Saya dari Indonesia 👍👍 Salam strike 🎉🎉🎉
Nice day out mate, i know that zone very well. We used to sound so many sharks there in summer :O I don't think i could be out on a yak there aha stay safe!
Good to see you out there again yesterday James. Great work on the squid - 3 squid on jigs is more than coincidence - jigging with metals obviously works. I didn’t realise they were around in good numbers out the front - I always look for them inside the bay. See you soon - Michael
Good to see you out on the water as well Michael. It seems that way! Good to know there is a fall back option if inside the bay doesn't produce. Hope you enjoy the snapper!
