Are arbitrary code executions easier on CD-ROM games? You'd think they would be since all the game code is copied to RAM and executed from RAM rather than executed directly from the disc
I have never actually played Super Mario Sunshine. I've seen some speedruns, but they must skip these cutscenes or something, because I've never heard this voice acting in my life. It seems so wrong, like it was fans reading dialog.
This is the Japanese release of the game, which has a different dub than the other releases. They re-dubbed the some of the lines for other region releases (the dub you are likely familiar with).
I don’t want to be a bummer but as cool as a TAS is. I always have a feeling these things are fake in terms of an abnormally long white screen to a sequence. Care to elaborate the process of this and all the documents regarding to how it is done? I need reassurance I’m new to speedrunning in general and this will clear a lot up for me.
They are working on a separate explanation video for it. This TAS is submitted on TASVideos, and the submission includes details and all the controller input data that *anyone* can use to replicate this TAS. Unrelated people have already verified that the TAS is genuine.
where’s my slightly uninterested sounding 25 year old with a still smooth and relaxing voice explaining every little detail of the glitch while Fludd is doing his cutscenes?! literally unwatchable 🙄🙄🙄
