I'm a UK eBay reseller (I buy things second hand from car boot sales, charity shops, and online to sell on eBay and make money). I also unbox geeky things from time to time!
Thank you for taking an interest in my channel and feel free to say hello in the comments, Rick 👾
Question: Do the prequel and original trilogies have the 20th Century Fox logo and fanfare at the beginning? I heard some of the newer releases did, but I wasn't sure.
The Games Workshop bundel is Warhammer 40K stuff, I think the figures may be part of the Space Wolves faction who are part of the Space Marines ... it doesn't really matter if they are painted (I think) just as long as they are not smothered in paint removing all the details. I used to paint these and they are easy to recolour if you don't like the colour (the units should be bluish/grey) ... it also looks like you have some of the alien creatures that they battle, but hard to see, would have been easier if you had set out some of the main figures ... take care, in the plastic bag some items might break ... although I used to deliberately "break" some of the units (handy that they are plastic) so that you can give them their own character and not have e.g. 10 of the same unit on the battle field, but one with a broken banner shaft etc., or a broken gun on the footpiece with the unit firing a different gun etc. I was more into regular Warhammer (orcs, goblins, snotlings etc.) than the space stuff, so don't know too much about 40k. Yes, they are plastic. Only a couple of high-quality units are metal. No idea what it is worth, must be over 20 years ago that I was painting those figures ... :)
Wow thank you for your help! Sorry I didn't unpack on camera, I didn't want to do it 1 handed and damage anything. I'll do more research over the weekend :)
@@rickadams You can check the Space Marines faction by looking at the symbols on their shoulders etc. it might be another one (though don't know why they'd paint 'em blue) ... although I think the tank is from the Space Wolves set.
I made 2 Bundles: Space Marines Bundle: www.ebay.co.uk/itm/226252495867 Tyranids Bundle: www.ebay.co.uk/itm/226252414905 so fingers crossed! Thanks for your help!
@@rickadams Ah just checked the listings ... the Space Marines one has some good activity ... keeping my fingers crossed for you! I also noticed that the 4 Orc figures (with the square base) and the elves with the circle base (from 1992) are what I used to paint!!!! ... those are actually regular Warhammer and not 40k. :) Knew there'd be some metal figures in there ... they are usually leaders or squad commanders. I don't recognise any from the alien lot ... but they weren't really my thing.
We played this back in the day, and kept it going for about a decade. We had a massive restricted list and at least one banned card. Time Eddy is just broken and ends every game it gets played immediately.
@@rickadams if you get tons of cards it’s actually pretty fun… after restricting every single card that kills a creature or returns a card from the discard pile. There’s enough support across the time zones to make pretty flavorful human decks, Dalek decks, Cybermen, The Master even. I lost my cards in a move 15 years ago or so, and it makes me very sad. I love that game.
Good video! The starter set is def worth the price you pay. Especially since the prices tend not to get crazy when the Unlimited product line prices fluctuate. Not to mention I LOVE Grogu. He can be a game changer for any type of deck. I run him in my Aggressive deck when I need some breathing room.
I love Transformers, i'm glad i bought the dvd boxsets that came out in 2007 i believe with four different boxsets and if you bought the first season you also got a tinbox where you can put in all the seasons.
Incredible find! Your video has inspired me to dig my box of SimCity cards out of my parent's attic next time I visit and maybe get back into building a complete set. This brings back some fond memories for me. As a 11-year old kid obsessed with playing the original DOS versions of SimCity and SimCity 2000 and also discovering CCGs as many did in the mid-90s, I came across the SimCity CCG while attending the 1995 Origins game convention (that's the Philadelphia Convention Center promo card) and it was at the time a perfect intersection of interest. I spent way too much time (and my dad's money) at the Mayfair booth where they were featuring this game, and played in the tournament they held for it. You're correct that at least some of the city council members in the game are Mayfair employees because I talked to them at the convention. I even got a couple of those signed; at the time I had just gotten a few Magic cards signed by the artists appearing at the con so I thought it would be cool to do similar with SimCity! Darwin Bromley, the late CEO and co-founder of Mayfair, is pictured on the Mayor card. I remember some of those promo cards as well that I picked up. After getting back from the convention I continued to collect the cards, though it became increasingly hard to find them as the interest in the product waned. I did get Chicago (and I think NYC) cards, but not the rest!
The back pack you put Yoda in was a mail away item back in the day. You got other things with it,, like a grappling hook, masks Leia and Han wore when they were in the space slugs belly in ESB.
I have a super sonic build a bear plushie from Sonic 2 and i was wondering how i can clean him since he has the sound box in his belly. And his gloves and socks are a bit greyish too.
I Like Star Wars Micro Machines SET IX with Super Star Destroyer AWing and BWing and the Very First Star Wars Micro Machines With Millennium Falcon, XWing and Star Destroyer and Micro Machines X with Death Star 2 Land Speeder and T16 Skyhopper and I like Star Wars Shadows Of The Empire Micro Machines with the Outrider Pack with Mini Figurines too
I had the removable limbs C-3PO as a kid. I really want to upload the figure movies again on to RU-vid, I know I have 3 complete in the archive, there's possibly a 4th one hiding on a backup DVD somewhere if I can find it. Would love to try and re-master them somehow too. The others are unfortunately lost to the mists of time (and old VHS I don't have anymore!) Watch this space!
Doesn't matter how small, it's always nice to see a haul. Looking forward to seeing vintage Star Wars videos. Always enjoyable when collecting things you're passionate about. Have a great few days over your birthday by the way 🎉👍😊
Yeah ... I probably saw every Dino-Riders episode when it came out, lived in Canada in the late 1980s to early 1990s and watched all sorts of morning cartoon shows. I remember the show, but not the details, I also remember friends having the toys, but as I was not that into figures (still aren't really) never had any myself ... heh preferred books and cards. Fun stuff.
