Thanks for sharing! What was terrible about the flow? The shot was almost at the end of the extraction so that is why it might have looked a little wonky, but I can assure you it tasted amazing! I’d love to hear your thoughts!
I counted roughly a 17 seconds extraction time for the cappuccino. This seems a bit too short, no? I’m no trained barista but the coffee looked under extracted. Happy to be corrected, thanks for sharing 👍🏼
Why am I just finding out about ceramic coffee filters 😮. I gave up on pour over about 5 years ago, couldn't take the cupping notes of last week's Sunday newspaper...
Man, how do you even clean that thing? At least with a paper filter you can just toss it away and you're ready for the next brew. How can you ensure the pores stay clean so they won't grow mold?
Hey bud! So unfortunately to give you a specific grind size would be incorrect on my end cause you can’t really look at the numbers on the grinder, they really don’t mean anything.. what I can suggest for you to do if you are having trouble dialing in your espresso is start by closing the grind size all the way counterclockwise, once it doesn’t turn anymore then open it slightly to make it coarser.. start pulling some shots and gradually keep on turning the knob clockwise “coarser” until you get to where you want to be.. you’ll have to waist some shots but it’s the best way to calibrate your grinder.. once that is done, adjust the dose.
