Hi! My name is Helana and I do art... I hope make this channel an outlet for creative ideas and entertainment. I hope to have videos like speed paints, tutorials, reviews, etc. So if any of that interests you please subscribe!
Im saving up to get this, The only downside is it's not 4k but I'm not spending two thousand plus dollars on a wacom so I will just have to live with it Edit: ended up getting an xp pen pro 24 instead
@@WoodysAR there is a diffrence, this is a big screen, it wouldnt matter on a phone but on something like this then yes, I ended up getting the xp pen pro 24 on black friday tho
Nice video. I am thinking about getting a drawing tablet, and you seem to have an unbiased view on it. Have you tried using Krita with the Huion? I would be very interested in hearing your thoughts.
hi! i wanna ask, does this tablet/xp pen pro 24 has the wheel to adjust brush size? also how much gap is there between the pen tip and the screen? (the thickness of the glass screen)? how about the lag?
Hi, I just got my kamvas 24 pro and when installing the drivers (mac) I notice that in the pressure sensitivity adjustment I only have one square and the option to enable or disable the pen tip is missing. Any idea why this is happening? ¡Thank you!
This was good to see, I got the kamvas to do 3d modelling but I am interested in photoshop and illustrator and I wanted to see how someone would use the kamvas.
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-S9xGT6NRwEI.html if u see this video, which has honest opinion?clearly u make good step by buy huion instead xp pen 24..
I don't like iPad pro workflow with procreate I feel limited with it in conparison to computer and PS. Apple pen feels slicky. I guess this huion could be good for me.
Hi, can you test your Huion for wobbly lines as seen in this review ( ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2f0VZeB9Zr8.html ), at 5'40" into the video.
I like my huion and find no problems with it, from what ive seen of both products I went with huion although i dont have any in person experience with the xppen
@@helana3538 in here there 50$ difference between huion and xp pen but i liked the huion glass protection and xp pen has usb c. id like to hear your thoughts for it.
Sathish Koththolla i think it will take more time to get scratches, depending on how hard u push down but i mean, you shouldn’t see any scratches ever, with the glass and all
Lana,...I found the video quite enjoyable. Actually, it was kind of unique how you narrated over the video (especially the unboxing etc.) and that was really nice! It was a nice change from just the typical talking head style that everyone seems to do. I also subscribed because of that. Can you tell me if there seems to be any noticeable lag when sketching quickly? It didn't look like there were any fish hooks at the end of your fast strokes either which was the downfall of the Dell Canvas that I got stuck with for a bunch of money. How bad was the driver installation for this? Also,...have you tried this with Clip Studio Paint Pro? THAT is the best program for drawing in my opinion. I'm going back and forth between the Cintiq 24 Pro and this but have been waiting on some reviews of this product. I need to really focus on if this Huion can be used at a professional level and if NOT,..why? What is it with the Cintiq Pro that makes it "PRO"? ...other than the ridiculous price tag and 4K screen? I mean I don't buy into the "prestige" thing....as you cannot take Prestige to the bank. If you can still do the same quality of work with both devices....and make the same money? What warrants an $1100 price difference? That's what I struggle with. Both made in China too! Wacom is based in Japan but makes the Cintiqs in China. Oh and do you find the friction from the etched glass to be enough to at least simulate a more realistic pencil to paper feel? I hate drawing on slick surfaces.
Thank you so much! I don't notice a bad lag when drawing. It really just depends on your program and brush, and with a regular pencil brush there is no noticeable lag when sketching. The driver installation was super smooth and straight forward, and worked right out the gate. I can 100% that this product can be used professional, but whether or not the product is right for every field is up for debate. I would say if you were a photo editor the color would probably prevent you from getting this is you need extreme accuracy. I guess the cintiq would be pricier because of the brand, 4k and im guessing the colors would be more accurate. I think the price difference is ABSURD! I think the etched glass is enough for me, I find no problem with it, it's definitely not slick
I just ordered the Kamvas pro 24 from the www.huion.us instead of www.huion.com. There I didn't have to pay for shipping. Amazon is also selling them now, but I would have had to pay sales tax had I purchased it from them. Thanks for the unboxing video. I can't wait for my tablet to arrive.
Im looking forward to buy tablet for upgrading from my 13" old cintiq. May i ask how the huion pen feel when drawing? Compare to the apple pencil. I tested the new apple pencil once and i fall in love with it. It feels slightly sticky and natural, how the huion pen feel on its screen?
If you have a matte protecter on the iPad Pro, the screens feel the same. The iPad Pro has a slick glass screen that makes the pencil slide around and I dont like that. However, the etched glass on the huion allows for a paper-like texture that i enjoy. The tip is not springy (the apple pencil isn't either) so the difference would be the size, with the Huion pen having a smaller tip
Lana thanks for the unboxing review .. Im a freelance artist and need to upgrade to something bigger ( currently cintiq companion 2i7 and ipad pro 12.9 apple pencil),.. like you ‘’but’’ Im still hovering around xp pen 24 and huion 24,.. maybe u can throw some light on a few doubts I have .. how is the huion pen .. I mean ..a friend has the 20 inch huion,.. the lates model.. is the pen tip a bit o springy ? Hows the initial activation force ? I mean do you have to press very hard to get the pen to start making the stroke ,.. is it veery different (for good or worst) compared to wacom mobile studio pro pen 2 .? And thanks for the tip about customs .. I heard that now you have to pay ..but wasn’t sure .. paying to customs is something you did separately I mean you had to do it on other site or going to some other web or place or .. it all comes in the package when you buy it from huion? Sorry about the loong message .
The tip doesn’t really move that much, and the initial activation force is not a problem for me. from what i can remember from the mobilestudio, the pressure sensitivity was very nice, and the huion pressure is comparable. I did the “prepaid” customs tax, which just means you pay huion for what the customs tax might be, instead of the product getting stopped at the border until you pay whatever amount they want you to pay
How is it ? the initial activation of pen pressure, of this huion model with respect to the wacom pencil. In some revisions of previous models it is mentioned that the initial pressure to activate the trace in huion is more than in wacom
David Rd i’m not sure, i haven’t noticed the tablet not pick up light pressure. i think it depends on the brush and drawing program you use. i don’t think it’s worth the money to go for wacom it that’s your only worry
@@helana3538 The best way to test it is with a fixed width brush, that way it makes a full size stroke as soon as the pen registers any pressure. Wacom registers a stroke at 1 gram of pressure. This is usually not an issue, except when it is. :) I've tested things like the surface book with ntrig pen, and it just didn't work for me. You would clearly feel the pen touching the screen, but there was no line, and it ruined the whole experience.
I'm undecided between this and a Cintiq - the general concensus is to always go for the Cintiq if you have the money, however if the build quality and experience is good then I'd be saving a hell of a lot of money going with the huion. Would you say your overall experience is a positive one?
i guess it depends on the space you have? because they’re both great products. i think the one notable difference is the resolution, one being 1080 and the other 1440. also, the new huion 22 products don’t have any shortcut buttons and i’m not sure if i’d be able to live without them. you’d be saving a lot of money with the 22 but if you can afford the 24 i’d do that or the 2019 22 pro
i think you’d want more color if you’re photo editing. it’s up to you what you buy tho! i’m not sure what the quantum dot tech is, but it sure does sound cool!
