My dad has been riding the scimitar 451s with the center hatchet fin forever. I finally gave them a try and was instantly sold on the design. Wish I had listened sooner lol. Had to buy a pair of John’s signatures to give them a try. These are slightly less tweaked outwards that the only scimitar 451s but same concept. Stoked to give them a try.
One thing I'd like to see manufacturers do on their fins is carry the artwork to the inside of the fin. There's something about looking at a board, seeing the beautiful outside of the fin and looking at the fin next to it and it not being the same that makes me say "that doesn't look right". Maybe it's just me.
As a person who has absolutely no need for surf fins in her everyday life, I found this video to be extremely well done and informative! Henceforth if some future version of me is ever in need of surf fins I will most likely buy Futures. x

@futurefins I've been using futures fins since 2018 and I can't be more happier, coming from the other big name in the industry. It has been heaps better for me. So thumbs up for that and thank you. For a while I've been wanting a bit more flex in the JJF mediums (with the green outline), especially in smaller weaker conditions where you have to put in a bit more effort, the addition of added flex would do wonders. I have tried the previous JJF large and they do have that bit more flex. And would love to get a pair for myself. But there aren't any available even spares or second hand on ebay couldn't find any. Is there a release in the near future with some 'flexy JJF fins'? Either a new fresh iteration of the old JJF a new design and colour. Or reintroduce the old ones.
Try the new Honeycomb Torkoro future fins, medium to Large fin, not to big and not to small perfect size for me at 86kg. Wide base drivey fronts with small rear for release and medium tip flex for projection of the lip, great all round fin I love them, gonna get a second set for my other board highly recommend.
