Love this man my second favorite player. I was a diehard Denver fan until Melo went to NYC and then JR followed...i want a what if series on 2013 lol 😅 I was wondering what your plan for this channel would be after Melo retired
"We stayed complacent we stayed humble" 😂 - Love Melo tho. He was still deadly in PDX at the end! I don't care if he didn't win it, there's so many players that just barely lost to players like Jordan, Lebron, Kobe - they are literally points away from possible rings in situations.
What happened to JR was a clear example of Lebron as a leader, in the press conference after JR's mistake and didn't support him. Instead made it seem like he the Cavs Failure in the series was on JR.
Excellent video. I always thought that JR got a bad rap, especially regarding the "gaffe". My take at the time it happened was, he made a mistake, but the game is tied and still win-able. LeBron totally mishandled the situation, pointing fingers, showing JR up, and pouting. Jordan, Bird, Magic, Kobe, etc would have settled things down and got the team to concentrate on winning the game. LeBron took his team's mindset away from winning the game. Kudos to JR for moving on post-basketball, excelling in college, and setting a positive example.
Phil Jackson totally ruined the Knicks by thinking they could run the triangle plus trading away J.R. Smith, then pissing off Porzingis so much that he demanded a trade.
