Good movie julia is as sharp as a pistol i didnt believe she took that much abuse though but he was abusive and controlling behavior at one point of time you have to look at the guys point of view too not just the women he was handsome and in shape but julia was beautiful
The ironic thing is that some of these men are probably your friends or people you think are ‘great guys’. My x did not beat me, but he otherwise did everything he could to terrorize me emotionally… but, everyone loves him.
I totally understand what you mean. All abuse isn’t just physical. There’s emotional and mental abuse as well. Getting out of those situations are always the best thing to do. I honestly believe that there is someone out there, for everyone. Someone who will treat you the way you deserve to be treated.
I just finished it, as well. Yes. I agree with everything you said. I hated this guy. I had to watch some interviews with him and he’s quite a lovely Irish gentleman :)
