Gary, I loved your piece and it’s representation of the process of aging and dementia.. it is a wonderful tribute to your Mom- she’s always been a beautiful and elegant woman. I love the chandelier pieces and their elegance.. I especially like your recognition of her humor and that hers is still intact in full force! I love your garage sale treasure, the redwood slab and your explanation of the rings and aging. You pulled this all together beautifully! Bravo! I love your other pieces in the show as well, showing the desperation of the situation and the need for gun violence to end! I look forward to seeing more of your work going forward. I’m sorry that we’ve missed all that was in between your early pottery and now 🥲 I hope you or someone else is writing the book about the life and fabulous art of Gary Marsh so that we can fill in the huge gap. ❤️
This is a really timely topic. The Marin County grand jury just released a report with recommendations on how the county could be more prepared to deal with the effects of climate change.
