Couple hours ago I saw a Kent men’s flexor mountain bike on the side of the curb and I asked the owner and they said you can take it, it’s free I want to know if it was worth it because it has break issues, a rusty chain, and the gears are too tight, I want to know if it was even worth grabbing it

Here's what I did... I rode my bike for a month with stock bars, and noticed where it felt most comfy for me. It was an inch inward from where the end of the grips were... So I cut 2 and a 1/4 inch off my bars 1.125 from both sides... Boom now they're perfect.
