Great ideas you have there. I’m pretty sure that you do this too, but when I talk with people I ask myself "What´s important to this person?” So that’s often directing my questions and comments. Robin Dreeke taught this to me. Also especially when I don’t know the person, there’s usually no point in making statements and comments that last more than 10 seconds. Because I don’t know what they are interested in, and that’s really important to know. Also I don’t how much they know about it, so I don’t mansplain. 😂
1. Be aware of the thoughts that are holding you back (All conversations have different results, don't be afraid to try again) 2. Ask Open-ended questions (Who, What, Where, When, How) 3. Start with easy questions (Ask recent-events or experiences) 4. Follow-up with a specific interest (Shows that you are paying attention to the conversation) 5. Share a related experience (Creates a connection with the person/people you are talking to)
