Nice video :D I think one of my favorites out of all of them would have to be the henchman of Mr. Freeze, Frostbite because if I were to make a DC Anti-Hero OC based on Mr. Freeze? Frostbite seems like an awesome inspiration imo👍
Bro i got a molotow chrome pen and painted the standard freeze it looks way better alot like the rare metallic version, the winged freeze is pretty rare over here in uk and europe as far as i know never see it on ebay . Nice video im collecting the retro figs at the moment also 🤟
Am I going crazy?! I can’t find Mr Freezes van!? Made by kenner. I know it exists! I had it! But I can’t seem to find anything on it anywhere? Please let me know if your aware of this particular vehicle? I even remember the commercial for it.
To be honest, the only vehicle Mr. Freeze had was the Deluxe Ice Terror figure with the Street Chill Dragster. If they made his Freeze-mobile, it was probably a mini diecast vehicle.
Ngl, I gotta say, even tho' I might not have much nostalgia for Super Powers/Super Friends as I did with my other favorite DCAU shows like Batman and Superman TAS',Batman Beyond, and Justice League TAS/Unlimited? I think these are pretty cool too imo when I also first watched these Super Powers toy commercials on RU-vid as both a kid and a pre-teen. Probably my favorite parts about these Super Powers commercials is the vehicles like the Supermobile and the Darksied Destroyer, and also because the Super Powers ver. of Brainiac also kinda gives me some small Terminator vibes as well :)
Batman and Robin had some of the best-looking figures Kenner ever put out for a Batman film except for the overall crappiness of the film itself, lol. That Arnie mold is incredible looking. I still wish I had my Bane from that series.
I'm pretty sure that the narrator for the Batman Returns toyline is Daran Norris, if not, it's a pretty close soundalike! Especially at 8:09. I'm just imagining Stan's Dad from American Dad!
Ngl, dispite everything being said about both films themselves? I always thought besides my favorite DCAU series' like Batman:The Animated Series,Batman Beyond, and Justice League (2001-2004) that both Batman Forever and Batman & Robin have the coolest toylines when I also watched the toy commercials of them on RU-vid alot ever since I was a kid imo lol. Also, yeah I did also watch My Adventures With Superman too btw and it was fun to watch can't wait for that show to get a Season 3 :)
I saw this one yesterday at Target and it looks great and a very reasonable price. But,I agree about the cape, it should've been bigger and wider to cover his arms and part of his body, that's what made him Batman.
That's a lot plastic in a set, how much did the B-mobile, wing and jet boat retail for at the time? Would also account for why I find parts of these vehicles at car boot/ swap meetings 😂
There's wanting, and there's having. Of all things I've bought or received as gifts, the things I really treasured were drinks, food, the movies on video and certain books. The commercials for toys always seemed more magical than the toys they had for us to buy!
I would like to see the original ending of the movie deep blue sea. Almost all scenes were deleted, the ending was changed, which was very controversial. In the movie that we can watch now, we wonder "how did the preacher managed to climb to the end of the tower with an injured leg, how did he know about their plan to kill the shark, we would like to see what the plan should be (I mean we hear the carter's and susan's whole plan, without deleted scenes), why did the "test audience" want Susan to be killed instead to survive, why did Carter and the preacher act in the last scene like Susan never existed, why did they change the ending, and so on. Everyone would like to see the original ending because this one makes no sense at all. If we manage to get another 1500 petitions out of 5000 by the 25th anniversary year, the movie would release original ending, not ending in the movie now. I thought I was the only one who knew there was a problem end in the movie, which had to be changed with the susan who survives, not get killed
I'm guessing nobody who did those movies wouldn't like the idea of Superman having the innacurate/non-canonical armor or gear concept like how Batman in these toylines did, which I in my defense and on the other hand thought they were pretty cool since imo what I did like about Mattel's JLU toyline is the Mega Armor figures that both Superman and Flash have :) This might sound crazy, but if I were to make my own DC OC's? I'd totally base them on the "Mega Armor" concepts that Mattel made for the JLU toyline lol.
These Super 7 do well with the small Lanard line, even that Power Loader in the background seems to do well with the Queen and the rest because they do see up to scale. If I wasn't addicted to the NECA figures with their details and articulation, I would definitely get these Super 7. I do own some Lanard figures like the Red Queen, one 4" Big Chap/"Drone" and their 6 1/2 inch Runnner, Warrior and Pale Big Chap, because these last ones do have better articulation and they fit the 90s Kenner line as well. I definitely like that mini APC...
