Welcome to the growing Six-Sided Legion RU-vid channel! We are a semi-competitive and experienced Kill Team group based out of the US. We produce content and battle reports while frequently attending events and tournaments for Warhammer 40k: Kil Team.
Really cool battle report! I love small narrative intro, and awesome to see blades of Khaine performing well. Really unlucky dice on the guard saves though, obviously 3 on 5s isn't great, but so few successful saves! One question sorry, was it the sergeant who had the rosary? Otherwise I am confused as to how he survived the crit from the Dire Avenger after taking 6 damage from hot.
Amazing report video guys very informative as yet I'm looking for videos how to play vet guardsmen! If I may ask where were you able to get the Squadgames terrains? I really like their terrains but can't seem to find them anywhere
We were fortunate enough to be gifted a set from the creator himself. I'm not sure what his production looks like at the moment, but usually you can find it on his website at Luster's Workshop. -Brett
honestly, big respect for saying "i really want the kill but it's not worth the CP for reroll" it's so hard to resist the suboptimal temptation. personally i think a battle report is both more competitively instructive and more enjoyable to watch when CP are saved for a team's sweet special moves and not just flushed for reroll
Nice report! It's not easy to find a report where those Aspect Warriors don't die horribly and quickly (as I expected, when I first saw that the team has 8 models with 8 Wounds and 4+ saves and pretty average weapons...) despite their alleged solid performance at tournaments. Btw, why do you refer to your Banshees as "he"? I know technically there may be male Eldar in these female-shaped suits, but...
Thank you for the support! Honestly, I didn't really think much about it when referring to the models. I think "he" is just easiest for my brain when it's a model that doesn't have a female head modelled. That's something I'll probably pay more attention to in future BRs now! -Brett
Great bat rep! Really appreciate your content. I'd really like to see more Blades of Khaine on the table. I know people are down on them, but I was so excited for this team. JAKT had a nice podcast about them recently. Would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks again.
Yep, that was just me misspeaking. The plasma gunner did take 2 mortal wounds which put him down to 3 health remaining which is signified by the small red die next to him. Nice catch.
Ah i was gonna say kinda missed exactionssquads Leader free Drohne and tac ploys. But this Balance dataslate hast been Out for a while 😊. Guess editing the Video to be so nice Takes time. Cool Game 👍🏻
@@Six-SidedLegion I would love to see them against a team with at least 9 operatives. So, anything but another elite matchup. (The recorded Warpcoven matches are so rare and most of them are Space Marines vs. Space Marines)
Hey this was a great video. Super well produced, best I've seen yet! Thanks for all the information and the fun game (especially for a fellow Hearthkyn player...)
@16:50 How is the sarge able to charge if he is in Conceal? "An operative cannot perform this action if it has the Conceal order or if it is within Engagement Range of enemy operatives" Even if you used guerilla warfare for 1AP you would not have been able to use Stealth Assault after right? Plus you can't use Stealth Assault while in engagement range you needed to declare that before the charge action. So if I understand this correctly you could use Stealth Assault(1CP), then Guerilla Warfare(1AP), then Charge(1AP). That puts you in but 1 AP left to Fight not two? I've played 6 games of KT using Intercession and was looking to explore Phobos. I may not have the rules interpreted correctly but that was kind of lame and sullied the rest of the report for me
Let me clarify what happens here, the sergeant charges both models at the beginning of his activation (we didn't flip the order from conceal to engage since he died before we could put a different one down, but he definitely was engaged to perform the charge), in our actual gameplay stealth assault was declared for the fight and in the video you are seeing the result of the sergeant hitting with two successful hits immediately. So it's a switch to engage, charge, fight with stealth assault, fight again, die. Hope that clears it up! -Brett
Stealth assault is declared on a model that starts its activation in a conceal order (as the sergeant has done) and then he is switched to engage to perform the charge action. -Brett
@Six-SidedLegion but even if that is true, as I was not there off camera, your sarge doesn't have the AP nor the ability to fight more than once? I've read this all over several times and discussed it with the other local players. I do not believe you have done this interaction correctly and your replies have eluded to this as well
So the strategic ploy shock assault was used this turning point meaning each model can fight twice. If you check the beginning of that turning point you can hear Ethan explain that part during the strategic phase. I also now realize you mentioned guerilla warfare, and that's not being used here at all. The only actions being done are loot (for free with vanguard), charge and fight twice. Hope this helps! -Brett
those DZ lines on the boards are very good ideas. it would be a little visually cluttering but 6" from DZ lines are handy too because so many effects check it
@@Six-SidedLegion Can't fool me, I remember seeing it in Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure! I like it! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-8KtF4mX7rpU.html
The ballin’ leaves tell a story. The great Elden Ring was dunked. In our home, across the field, the Court Between. Now, Queen Marika the Slingshot is nowhere to be found, and in the Night of the Slam Dunk, Godwyn the Ballin’ was the first to have his ankles broken. Soon, Marika's offspring, ballers all, claimed the shards of the Elden Ring. The mad taint of their newfound strength triggered the Dunkening. A war from which no MVP arose. A war leading to abandonment by the Greater Slam. Arise now, ye Ballers. Ye slam, who yet jam. The call of long-lost three-pointers speaks to us all. Hoarah Loux, Chieftain of the Court. The ever-brilliant Dunkmask. Fia, the Jump Ball Companion. The loathsome DunK Eater. And Sir Gideon Ofnir, the All-dribbling. And one other. Whom the ball would again bless. A Baller of no renown. Cross the field, to the Court Between. To stand before the Elden Ring. And become the Dunkin’ Lord
Sorry about the random audio peaks. Tried to take them all out, but my transfer from different video editing programs seems to have kept making them during rendering. - Ethan
Could played phobos better, took double minelayer, marksman, vet, reiver leader n warrior, give the reivers gravshutes n nades move em up pop smoke n shoot thro smoke n plant mines while there's cover
Those were purchased from Epic Basing. I believe it was two different packs of plants. They have a lot of different options you can order or STLs you can buy and print yourself! - Brett
