After using the goat for a while I’ve come to the conclusion is not for me. I went back to my Scott sigma what a relief. The goat is heavy and well made. It didn’t feel consistent, Couldn’t get the release light enough for starters. I did request an answer from tru.ball no reply, it seems they’re not to interested in they customers.
I love my bowmar grip. Just ordered more I've had the same one on for 3 seasons and still feels brand new ordered the new color just for a different look.
This thing sucks! I cannot say it enough. I’m shooting a 375fps crossbow and at 20 yards, it buries the bolt so deep into the target that you can NOT pull them out. At all. I asked someone for advice and they literally said to get a knife and start carving the piece of shit. Do NOT buy this. Get a bag or a Rinehart.
i just watched a video that Ravin put out and they said after you dialed in your 50 yrd pin to go back to 30 yrd and shoot it and then adjust your speed dial. can you confirm?
My original string only lasted about 70-75 bolts and then blew up right at a year of ownership. The original strings and cables are crap, I got a ravin press and ordered a badass replacement string and cable set from The Archery Shack. i couldnt be happier, going on 18 months now and no signs of significant wear and barely a drop in speed. i shoot somewhere between 10-150 bolts a year and this cable and string set is still standing strong. They have a youtube channel, check em out.
Bought a brand new R5x and have had nothing but problem after problem! Have not even been able to sight it in on target let alone hunt with it! And Ravin Customer service is absolutely terrible and they don’t care about their customers!! A 1600$ paperweight!!
