Lots of kids sneak out during the night. In my teens, I did it too. Even though my father was very strict, my parents NEVER locked me out of the house. That's a bit excessive. As a parent I would want to know my child is safe. We'll deal with consequences the next day. Also their extreme parenting of making your kid chop away at a tree stump - day in & day out for a month!! 😮 I'm happy Michael was cleared in their murders, because everyone was just focused on him.
