This is a very helpful tutorial but some of the command menus, tabs and icons are out of the viewing range, making it difficult to clearly understand where those commands are located. Not everyone has a deep understanding of where the commands are located.
My company has received a preliminary file from a different architect that has subcategories setup already but there labeling standards are different from ours so we would like to keep the same browser organization that they have provided us with but rename the subcategories. I now how to add new ones and can transfer all the plans one at a time or a few groups but that seems way to tedious especially because the majority of the plans have view templates applied and it kind of complicates it. Please tell me there is a simple way to rename the existing sub categories?
As a HVAC drafter this would be nice if it could be performed on linked Architectural models to determine if the walls have moved and either increased or decreased the area of the spaces.

very clear. I am trying to use this technique to create helical ramp for parking garage. The width of the solid form I have given was 21ft and its saying there are intersections in the profile and cannot create but when I create a 11ft one its doing good. Is it because of the turns we did during creating the spline. I am using 2014 revit. Its really great I would use it for many other designs. thanks

Thank you for this tutorial on such a critical issue indeed. But apps.case-inc.com/ says they do not process any new registrations :( Do you know any other way to audit location lines of walls?
