Thanks! Funny, I actually don't really like the T14 but it's my second Pool's medal with it! Not a coincidence that both were battles with a lot of tier 4's in it. This tank is not very good against tier 6. Very slow hull rotation and bad gun, armor's not great either.
@@paskeetje 11 kills is 11 kills. I managed to get 9 a few times, but Pool's avoids me because nowadays at the higher tiers, which I almost exclusively play, it's pretty much impossible. At least for me...
@@andrzejzet4625 Nah. I've watched gameplay videos of War Thunder. Not my thing. I prefer the arcade/arena style of WOT even with all the bad players in it...
Hadn't played this tank in almost 4 years (I was really bad back then!) and pulled it out for the first stages of the AMBT contract. Didn't realise just how good it is!
You are CHEATING by running your pc on the console. Does that make you feel proud of yourself to have good games against players who dont have the pc power, and cheats ? Console players dont have the advantages you do….. maybe, thats WHY you have games and marks of excellence with such a crappy low scoring tank? You are a REAL WINNER!!
Sorry to disappoint you but I only play on Playstation and nothing else. I upgraded to a PS5 last september but that's it. No extra equipment, no cheats, not even a keyboard and mouse. This particular video was played on my old PS4 Pro with a standard PS4 control pad. I started posting my videos on RU-vid because uploading them onto my portable hard drive directly from my PS was taking too much time. I considered not making them public as I do not have any ambitions for my channel. But then I noticed there were very few videos online for lower tier tanks and I decided to make them public. I wasn't always this good, you know. This is the result of 6 years of playing and over 38000 battles of experience. Am I a 'winner'? There are no real winners in this game, in my opinion but I have a 'career' win rate of 55,87% and the 'Celebrations' website has me at 63% for the current season. If I look back at my first 2 or 3 years in the game, I have come a long way. Am I proud of beating players that are not as good? Not really, I used to be one of those players and I used to get my butt kicked not knowing what was going on for years until I learned the game the hard way. So I AM proud of the huge progress I've made over the years. I've checked many players' stats over the years and I've seen some get better with time (like me) while others remain average even after 50000 battles. Just look at my first ever ace tanker video back from 2018 (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JvP5hvPEpNI.html). When I look at it, I can barely believe that's me. So slow... I'm no longer playing to win or I'm not playing to feel better than others. I only have two remaining goals in this game: play at least 100 battles in every tank and try to get an ace tanker in every tank. I don't even care about marks, sometimes I get them and sometimes I don't... As for the marks. You do know that they are calculated per tank, don't you? So, a crappy tank has crappy marks and a good tank has really good ones (I check them here: wotconsole.info/marks/). Marks compare your performance to all other players in that SAME tank and they change over time. I have 3 marks on only 5 or 6 tanks and I usually only get to 2, which means there are plenty of players out there that are even a lot better than I am. On this tank I have averaged 938 total damage in 100 battles. Currently the 2nd mark is at 1036, the third at 1158. It was definitely lower when I was playing this tank. On wotstars.com I currently rank 33rd all time in this tank (only players with at least 100 battles all time get ranked) on a total of 438 players. This ranks me in the top 7,53% of players on this tank, not bad but not exceptional. If more players would play this tank, I would definitely be lower and I probably wouldn't even have 2 marks, but as you said, this is a crappy tank and few players are interested in playing it 100 times. The top player all time in the StuIG 33 B has an average total damage of 1659 which is almost DOUBLE mine. I have several tier 4 and 5 tanks where I rank in the top 5% and my best is the Panzer III/IV (on which I DO have 3 marks) where I now rank 21st out of 8916 players (or top 0,24%). I also have a lot of tanks with mediocre stats (especially the ones I played the first few years) and on the highest tiers there are even more good players that are a lot better than I am. My conclusion is: if you get angry or annoyed because you see other players doing things you can't (I used to myself) maybe you need some time away from the game or maybe you should rethink the way you are playing. I left WOT for several months at two occasions and each time I got better when I came back. If you are stuck in frustrations, your game doesn't evolve. Also, I only really started to learn about spotting/detection, crew training/skills and other vital mechanics when I was already playing for some 2 years. Wargaming does a crappy job of explaining its game. There are almost no tutorials and the ones that exist are bad. Take your time learning about them and about the small but often critical differences between tanks. Not all tanks of the same class necessarily play the same way. You have to look at view range, detection range, armour thickness, acceleration and gun penetration/aim time and then adapt your setup and playstyle. If you want, you can even send me videos of your replays and I will give you my opinion on what you could change to get better. It's up to you...
You sure you're not talking about the Stug III B at tier 4? Now that does a lot of damage. The Stug III G is pretty normal for a tier 5 tank destroyer. My favorite destroyers at tier 5 are the PzSfl IVc (the toaster) and of course the T67 (now THAT is an op tank!). Even the Semovente is not bad because it is small and easy to hide.
They changed the interface after an update a while back. I don't know if you can still get that. You have to go look in the options menu if this is still available but I don't think so...
Tier 3 contracts are the easiest to finish. There's no tier restriction on the tanks you can use. It just comes down to playing battles until the XP requirement is met, really. The best way to get your XP faster is to play for the daily XP bonus on different tanks. Play one tank and when you've got your first win bonus, swith to another, etc... If you have Premium time it's even faster. If you need a certain amount of assisted damage (like on stage 7 of the Caboose contract), play tanks with good concealment, go spotting and resist the urge to shoot (only when absolutely necessary) but allow your team mates to do the damage. Also, higher tiers can get you more assist since guns do more damage on higher tiers. You could get 1000 assist in one tier 5 or 6 game where it would take you 5 or more at tier 3. Good luck!
Congrats. I've got all Mercenaries up to Tier 8 now. Finished the Cruncher contract a few weeks ago. If you thought the Caboose was a grind... I was playing contracts virtually non-stop for a while in like 2020-21 until I had only Tier 7 and higher left to do. Then I stopped playing contracts for almost 2 years because the grinding was just too much. Now I only have Tiers 9 and 10 left to do but next time a contract for one of those comes around, I'll probably pass. don't know if I'll ever get around to doing them. Right now I'm focusing on acing all my Tier 5s. I aced the P.43 yesterday so I now have 49 of 74 done...
I had last day today to complete it but I wasnt sure because yesterday it was only 1 day left soo it took me about 4-6h to complete these 3 stages I know higher tier mercenary contracts are real grind here good for you dude@@paskeetje this was my 5th mercenary contract I completed
@@Ryder_RMYT Well, as you can see I'm still playing. I only play WOT half as much as I used to, though. I used to play 25 to 30 battles per day, I'm down to 10-15 lately, some days even less. I play just enough to get a free war chest every week and to pick up any premium tanks they're giving away with ops or contracts.
Hey. Not really. Besides the new season beginning, that is. I'm considering stopping for a while, though, or at least playing a lot less once this season is finished. I think I need a break because I'm not really enjoying the game anymore, at the moment. Maybe spending some time on other games is not such a bad idea...
Stop dude, you can have all the great games you want, it's a moot point. The player base sucks ass, and I mean SUCKS ASS. Most have no idea where to go in the tank they are in, nor how to play that tank. WoT's is DEAD, simply because they refuse to teach the players, which now suck more than a porn girl trying to make it big.
I know. I only post these videos because I want to keep track of my ace tankers. I could choose to keep them private but I decided to make them public just in case there are players out there that want to see (and maybe want to learn?). But, you are right unfortunately. I've been playing for 5.5 years and the gameplay has never been worse. I played some Tier 8, 9, 10 the last few days and even on these 'top' tiers the battles only last 3 or 4 minutes and players behave as if they're seeing the map for the first time. Cold War is even worse. I played some Escalation last week and it's more like Mario Kart or Rocket League with tanks than an actual strategy war game. I try to finish 'the long haul' every week and sometimes you can literally hit two shots and be in the top 5 of your team...
Ok, I was running adv. optics, adv. concealment, ventilation and enhanced target info. My crew had born leader, rapid loading, sixth sense, steady aim and clutch braking. Now, if you don't have an experienced crew in the tank you could maybe replace ventilation with adv. gun laying drive to improve the aiming because the gun on this thing is not very accurate. But since I already had steady aim, I prefered ventilation because it increases all stats, including loading and aiming. Hope that helps!
Thanks! I had this game not so long after we platooned yesterday. We had some nice games together. Especially the one where we were the top 2 players in our HMC M8's. I forgot to save the video, though...
There's currently a contract out on the Longbomb. If you're thinking about getting one, here's my opinion on it. I want to play all (tech tree) tanks in the game and I try to collect them all, so that's why I have a Longbomb and why I've played it. This being said, it's not one of my favorites as isn't the British AT2 which it has been based upon. Gameplay in this thing can be very frustrating due to its lack of mobility. Sure, the gun can hit hard but in high speed games (and there are many of those nowadays) you will find yourself chasing the action or easily outflanked and outmanoeuvred. And that tasty armor will only help you in certain situations. If you are a collector like me, the contract isn't too demanding so it wont be too difficult to finish. Be sure to supply it with an advanced repair kit because you will get tracked and/or ammo racked on a regular basis. You might want to equip it with traction system or power train but even then you'll probably still be the slowest tank around. In conclusion: not my cup of tea, more of a niche tank, can be fun in specific situations but can get frustrating at times and kind of boring most of the time.
Glad you like the videos but sorry, haven't got anything lined up right now... I've been playing a bit less the last few days and, I have to admit, haven't been playing that well! Hopefully I'll have better results in the next few days.
myeah, not so sure about that, mate...! I don't even know if you can technically call me a 'youtuber'. I only post private videos that just happen to be public, really.
Thanks for the compliment! I've been playing for 5 years now, 3 on and off but more intensely the last 2. So, it's a lot of hours and a lot of 'training'! But, yes I think I've become 'good' now. I wouldn't say great because if I compare my stats to the top players, I'm still quite a way off... Let's just say I can handle myself in almost any tank and in almost any battle, but still got a lot of ways to improve.
Well, it is certainly one of the best if not THE best tier IV in the game. The Luchs, the SU-76G FT and the T-28E with F-30 are among my other favorites.
@@paskeetje I know! I got seven kills easily, and I am not very good. Sometimes I do WOT livestreams, and one of them was an awesome replay of me in this tank, if you might want to see it sometime, and I do love your videos! Keep up the good work!
I actually kinda like it. You have to play it carefully because its armour is no good. But the gun is absolutely great and the reload is pretty decent. So, if you play it right it can do great damage. The T-28E does more damage because it has a massive gun but I actually prefer this one because it is slightly more mobile.
