Heads up: You actually had 2 stat points to assign when you leveled up, because you leveled up via a weak enemy last episode. There was a pop-up, that probably told you, but you skipped over it.
so, from what I understood, people in the backline take less damage and are targeted less but the deal less physicals damage and being in the front has the opposite effect. however, I don't think the characters position changes there magic attack damage, so in general damage dealers and characters that have high defense and hp should be in the front to do more damage and take the hits, and mages should be in the back line in order to not take hits.
36:34 The Captain's Uniform is not equipped to anyone here. Grius was wearing it and you swapped it for the Mining Uniform. I think the blue highlight means the item is unique. You got the Captain's Uniform from beating Klinger and found the Mining Uniform in a treasure chest.
When I played the demo, I put Grius the Mage Archetype, sometime Games need to be Balance, Normal Player, Strong Player and Magic Player, you know, classic RPG type Style
Grius appears to be the same race as Fornus, the high priest guy from the intro cut scene. I'm not sure they've named it yet, and that would be my one criticism of the storytelling so far: too slow to introduce the different races.
Not giving you shit, just trying to understand your thought process. You saw that Grius favors strength so decided not to give him Mage. My question is why you gave him Seeker instead of warrior? Considering Seeker starts with only magic. Again just curious! Enjoying the playthrough and I don't want you to think I'm giving you a hard time. 😅
Because I was always planning on making main character mage and I needed someone with healing magic. Seeker is more physical than mage is so it's the middle ground.
@@AnalogVernacular Fair. I actually kinda screwed myself by building the MC towards strength but then I discovered the first couple party members favor strength. 😅
I don't think warrior is that good cause it only has physical skills. Physical weakness are usually rare in atlus games. I'll always favor an elemental option. Maybe physical weakness won't be as rare in this game though we'll see but that will be a limiting factor for warriors. So balancing stats of the class with elemental affinities will hold more weight for me than strength dump with limited weakness abuse.
I don't think I've seen it in your videos. Were you aware that if you're moving forward on the speeder and hit both the gas and brake, you can kick the back end around for a fast U turn?
Prime sabacc is no more difficult to get than any other numbered sabacc. There's 3 one's in each deck just like all other numbers. You don't often find them on the discard piles, but there's just as much chance of them coming up on a draw as any other card. Also, if you've got bad cards and might get taken out, embargo and taxing 2 chips are both great strategies for preventing other players from improving their hands. For instance, on your second game when you knew there was another sylop in play you could have used Nix to determine what the next guy would have after taking the sylop then played embargo to pass it to the guy opposite you who'd have ended up with the sylop and the imposter. Then he'd have to draw a second time to replace the imposter or chance the dice and unless he drew a one you'd have tied with him or won against him. The other 2 might have still beat you, but it would have given you a better chance.
Kingdom Come Monk life hahaha. At least Henry is using a different name so it doesn't really count. Lucas seems very sketchy. Leave it to Henry to find drink and dice anywhere he is lol. Puppers said I'm joining too. You really have to wonder how anyone would choose a monk's life. He poisoned you so yeah, double cross the weasel hahaha.
Excuse me, fine Sir? Did u say the devil, translated to English means the accuser, wanted good for humanity? I encourage u to look up Christian scripture for yourself, there are free online sources. We've been warned about the devil's schemes, don't let it be so in ur life. Isaiah 5:20 "Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil,..." Check it out. Cheers!
What do these cantina's have against droids? Awe, I love the Jawas. So is there anything that beats a prime sabac? Hahaha that's hilarious when you accidentally send Nix to attack. Poor little guy.
I'm still reeling from the last episode. I'm enjoying the parallels to the persona games. They should have used Igor, and then it could be a multiverse of the Atlus games. Maybe More wanted more so he was locked up. I don't trust him, but I don't think the King was that great either. I don't mind the persona similarities. Persona in any iteration is spectacular.
Now i wanna try the demo for myself now. A full-on fantasy Atlus game with press turn and class system is right up my alley. Looking forward to future fights. Crossing my fingers that the elf mommy or pink tomboy beastgirl joins the party soon. Also, the music seems to be a bit loud and overpowering the voices, especially in Academia. Might need to lower that a bit.
I have been dying to see your let's play of this game for a few days now, I have played through the entire demo and while I strongly encourage you to play your own way I will say that from experience the seeker archetype is... not that good, especially on a strength based character like grius, It only has wind and slash coverage and It only gets the slash move later on. so for grius who has high attack and low magic seeker isn't the best choice, personally I turned grius into a worrier like strohl because it starts out with a slash move. but again, this is just my personal opinion and I'm sure you will be fine since you have experience with these game. also, Im not going to tell you what it is, but if I'm guessing right by the next episode you will encounter the first optional boss, good luck with that! I had a hard time with it on normal mode, so I can't wait to see you try to beat it on hard, I will say thou I you do choose to battle it, the reward is really good, and if you choose to not face it, I don't think the game lets you go back to try and face him later. good luck with the rest of the game, and sorry for the long comment, I'm just really exited to see you play this game!
Don't discuss things that happen in the future, I'm past this but had I not been I wouldn't have liked reading about it here. Thanks. Also, of course some people will be better in certain roles, that doesn't mean I won't use them on them when my team needs it. Mage would be way worse for him than Seeker and I still needed someone to Dia while I built main character in magic.
@@AnalogVernacular got it, and sorry, I won't make the same mistake agein, never the less I am still looking forward to seeing you play the rest of the demo😁 the game is super fun and I can't wait until October 11th to play more!
1:18:54 what happened here is that your attack broke it from being stunned as you can see above. I believe how it works is every attack enemies suffer gives them a chance of recovering from being stunned.
This game is certainly oozing with style, and the setting feels strange and familiar at the same time. Very intriguing. Also, what the heck was that summon animation xD Looking forward to this playthrough, it's gonna be great!
You'll see it when you read the lore stuff but everyone with animals ears are Paripus. So the "mouse people" and the "dog people" are not separate tribes
This definitely is one of the more meaty demo's of a game, I myself got about 14 hours on hard reading every bit of NPC dialogue and lore bits doing all the available quests so far, and doing a optional dungeon. I like the SMT strange journey energy I have gotten from the game as well, both from the soundtrack but also somewhat in regards to the general vibe being closer.
I'm loving the art style so much. Atlus makes some of the most beautiful games. Yeesh, that death scene, though. Death and mayhem from the start!! Maybe Regicide opens up on full release. Gallica sounds like Amanozako VA. Why is everyone either arrogant or rude?!! Why is the captain such an ass?!HuYep, humans are monsters. This is going to be absolute wild playthrough.
So, watched the full episode now. I enjoyed it a lot, far more than I ever enjoyed SMTV. Only nitpicks are the chanting in the I suppose normal battle theme (I just don't like chanting) and to me, some of the portrait characters bear too much of a resemblance to other Atlus characters. Maybe I'm going mad there, but I don't think so.
@@AnalogVernacular Gallica reminds me of P3R Yukari, the Young Nobleman you end up battling with looks like Vincent from Catherine to me (although now I've googled an image of him, I must be thinking of someone else - maybe I was thinking of Yu from P4), and the Igniter Merchantess reminds me of Hifumi. It's all nitpicks - I'm even watching it all through a second time because I enjoyed it that much.
Looking forward to playing this myself when the demo downloads. You keep saying the city people sound rude. I hadn't noticed; to me they just sound like home :D
