Please please help ! I have done 40 squares of the square one , but you missed row 4 of the round one. I can't work it out ,it just curls up I've tried doubke crochet ,single crochet into every stitch , double crochet single crochet into every other stitch . 😢 Please explain Row 4 I'm stuck .
I had started to do this but it's a bit fast and a little bit complicated with the instruction for beginners like me. I hops you can do a more detailed and slower tutorial for beginners.like us. But definitely this cover up dress is really nice and I really want to do this.
Hello. This is a pretty hat, and it looks so easy to make; I am a beginner and doing row 1 of the Brim I get a total of 73 stitches instead of 78; I can only see one increase. Can you please explain. Thank you!
Although your instructions are very clear, i simply could not do that "backwards" row. After many attempts, i discovered that i could do that row from the front by doing it left-handed and working left to right. I am loving this pattern!!
Ok, I have decided to change my pattern to a different granny square. The instructions in the video and in the written pattern are much too confusing. There are missing parts and it’s taking way too long trying to figure it out. Sorry!
Would not help if you could! I spent months making this, and it looks very different! Even read through the pattern with a fine tooth comb and dissected the pictures and they are DIFFERENT!! And in the end it does not fit anything like hers(and I even checked my gauge!)I have to take it all apart and add more squares and join different. The way she stitches it if you do it too loose it shows weird gaps and if you do it too tight it has lines across. Looks horrible I am so broken hearted. Save yourself the trouble and do not make this. But in her pictures it sure is gorgeous. Wish mine was.
Thank you for sharing this tutorial. This cover up is beautiful and I love working with 24/7 cotton yarn. I'm making this for a friend and she's petite, could I make the dress a little shorter?
I hope someone has an answer to this issue..ive taken apart the body of the hat 4 times now..the hat starts to flare out at the junction where you join 1st single stick with a slip knot..than crochet 1, and make 1st crochet in same loop?? so it start to flare at this point..??????HELP, I do have written pattern. Thank you!
It should not. You are slip stitching and ch1 and crocheting 1 in same stitch so the stitch count remains the same. Not increasing. A flare would only happen if you are increasing.
@@slowrunner40 Yeah, that's what's confusing, I am doing just that, but its flaring..so I started not crocheting in the same stitch anymore, just ch 1, and on to the next..it not flaring anymore ....thanks for your reply!
@@slowrunner40 AHA!! I listened to the tutorial again, she says "For the body of the hat, we'll be working 1 stictch into the BLO all the way around..NO 2 loops into the back loops, so just one.. I wonder why the written directions say different??
Pretty hat. Disappointing tutorial. I wish you hadn’t gotten impatient and skipped ahead. The pattern isn’t difficult if demonstrated completely. If you had demonstrated all 4 rows that are to be repeated (per the written instructions) this coups have been an amazing tutorial. 😢
Love the pattern, found the video helpful and unhelpful at the same time. I would’ve loved more video detailing when it came to the trim especially starting it off etc. I gave up on the trim in the end as it didn’t look right
