Good job. Joel's books are hard. They're for intermediate and advanced players he claims. He sent me about 10 free books since I teach. He found me on Craigslist. Lol. There is so much to do just in one book.
Well, I don't think it's too bad for them, because I make sure the temperature doesn't drop below 10° C. However, I do need to re-tune them every now and again, since the heads loosen when it gets colder.
Yea, nice rendition and it's always good to put one's own expression on a cover, which you have done. God bless your drumming. BTW: that kit sounds very good.
Yep, I tried snare on 1 & 3 in the intro (like Ginger), then switched to 2 & 4 in the 'verse' - but I might try another version with 1 & 3 all the way, just on snare + HH rather than toms (and maybe double-time) - it's a very versatile song! Check out the Living Colour version, they really rock it up...!
She LOVES sailing with us - and is a great sailor!!! But this was practically her first time at hoisting the spinnaker, so was happy to watch and learn.
