Not true. You have to book it through Amex or you have to book it directly from the website of the airline. So for example if you book through a 3rd party like Expedia you do not get 5x the points. In addition you also don’t get 5x the points if you do bundle deals like hotel and air together or you choose the option of pay later.
I have a pouch that came with a bucket bag I had from years ago. The lining bubbled up. When I brought it to LV they said they didn’t have record of me purchasing it. I told her it came with that bucket bag, which they did show I purchased. She didn’t believe me. This was the store manager. I texted her photos of the bucket bag being sold on resale sites showing the pouch was included with/ the bag. They stood firm & wouldn’t repair even though I offered to pay for the repair. How would you have handled this?
How old is the bag? It’s quite simple; if you are confident that it came with the pouch just Escalade the issue. Contact the store director and ask her for her direct managers contact information hahahah trust me; she will be more than willing to help you then. They usually don’t repair pouches and mostly just replace them which you would pay for but if it’s really old; it may not be available as a spare part anymore. What’s the name of the bag? I can ask my friend.

U can get 175,000 if u going into the website using incognito mode. I tried it, not using the referral link. It didn’t work at first but people told me to keep trying and it eventually offered me 175k
Is it me or are or are these lounges way more crowded than ever now . Are they just letting anyone in that pays per person now . If just the case then why have the card with that massive fee if it’s not going to matter who gets in . Are people speaking up about this . Something is going on here .
I have had the platinum for less than a year but I have already used the centurion lounge 4 times. I am not a complainer. It is just really nice to be able to get away from the huge crowds around the gates, relax, have a few drinks and grab a meal. The lounge in Phoenix isn't huge but I don't care because it still beats the alternative. Still have a final trip/cruise for 2024 so I will be using the lounge at least two more times. The card is just totally worth it. I can fly out of LAX or SD. Last trip and next trip I ended up at SD so I don’t always get to use the Amex lounge. Happy to see you are getting your monies worth
I do have American visa card (no anural fees), my opinion is- everything included - with platinum card isn't worth to have high hand card and top of that the % of interest rate soo high began with and to charge anural fees ummm?/? not for me , lol, but good to know that what card can give option ,
I totally get it. The card isn’t for everyone! It truly is a travel card. If you fly and use a hotel at-least 3x a year worth it. If not; I would suggest gold
Great video as always! I have been with American Express for 20 plus years. I started with the regular card, then gold, then platinum, and now back to gold since I don't travel as much as I did in the past! My account is paid in full monthly as well. They send me the offer to get the Black card often, but the deal wasn't worth it to me for my needs currently. I'm still working on them for the Black card! 😂😂But the Gold works for me currently, I use it for everything unless the retailers don't take it. I also have connected my points through Amazon so most of the time that's where my points go now! The Delta Lounge is great!!😍
@@maisonmalli sorry for the time difference! The Black card is the private offer when you've been with them. It cost $5000 annually and $10,000 initial start up. Concierge service is one of the perks, free airline tickets annually, lots and other things that's wonderful 😊

Yes! It does suck that it’s only to card holder. When I believe it use to be an additional 2 people. Now you have to spend like $75k to have additional people go with you. Delta has had lots of changes too that I hear people are not thrilled about so be sure to look into that. Thanks for watching!
They also made a change additional card members. Pretty much it was $175 to add 3 people and they could use the lounge. Now, it’s $195 per card member. Then they can use the lounge. I rather pay $35 or $50 to bring someone in that pay $195 for each card holder, that’s ridiculous

Amazing tour of the Amex lounge. My daughter actually has the American Express gold card, and she likes it. She gets $10 every month for Uber Eats, and I guess you mentioned other perks. The yearly fee isn't super bad at $250. I have some credit cards that are affiliated with American Express, but also with another company, and I get $10 for Uber Eats.
