There is so much inconsistency with photos, videos and info. I have called multiple times and nobody can confirm the bath tub; - if it sees through to the bedroom and if it has jets. This is very bizarre. * edit: I am remarking on what info is being provided by the company and not by you. I truly appreciate the tour!
A Lock-off is a type of 2 Bedroom Villa you can book where instead of having a dedicated second bedroom, it is a combination of a 1 Bedroom Villa & Deluxe Studio separated by lockable doors on either side. In essence, the Deluxe Studio becomes the second bedroom that you can “lock-off” between the 2 rooms if you wanted to use both rooms separately from one another.
Just 89 more days, I’m so excited!!! I haven’t been to disneyworld in 8 years and only stayed for a couple days, so having a week at the AKL is a dream come true. Watching room tours just hypes me up more
Me and my kids made it a tradition to go there our 1st night, April 2023 my boyfriend came with us on our trip, I bragged about Ohana on how good it is.....let's just say we're going in November and he said..we're not going back to Ohana are we? Smh I was so disappointed, so now we're gonna try Boma for our 1st night 🤷🏼♀️
Thanks for this great video! I am always looking for resort videos to send my clients and I appreciate you show everything and are straight to the point! I'll be using your vids in the future!! Thank you for your time and effort! <3 Subscribing!!
Opened? Probably not, it looks bigger in the video than it was in person. You you have plenty of room in the bedroom for the one that DVC would provide upon request
I ate at Ohana 3 times 3 weeks ago, which is a record for me. I loved everything except the steak as I am not a fan of the glaze they put on it and the 1st night I tried it, it was tough. The next 2 nights I told them to not even bother to bring the steak. Everything else was great. Recently they changed the glaze on the chicken to what is was pre-covid and I love it now. Nothing I had was burnt. 1 night the noodles may have been barley warm but is was still good. One thing I do like at Ohana, is if there is something you really like, you can ask them to bring you more. The meal is pricy. I have booked another 2 dinners at Ohana in about 4 weeks. I do say that I typically book mine around 3:30 which is when they first open for dinner ,which could be why the food was better. I have went to restaurants late at night before and had poor quality of food and will never book 2 hours prior to a restaurant closing for the night.
I’m glad you enjoyed your experience, I wanted to book ours to match when others may want to go (during fireworks). The time of day shouldn’t affect the quality of the food, especially at $62 per person before tax & tip.
Sean - can I pick your brain on basemaps for the monorail project? I’ve recently purchased TransDEM and can never produce a result with adequate resolution to accurately place the beamways. Similarly, I am struggling with aligning the various Google Earth images of the property when employing that method. Lol
I did the base maps about 4 years ago. Someone on the download station had one that was scaled to exactly 1 square kilometer, so I went on google earth & painstakingly drew about 200 square kilometers & drew where the bottom of each beam pylon was. I screenshotted each one when plugged into my HD monitor, so I believe each one is about 1024x1024 to match Trainz’s specs for textures
@@Monorail_Central Ouch. With the advances in GIS technology in recent years I’ve come across alternative methods that don’t require 24 hours of free time, lol. Thank you for your response, I appreciate the insight
find another video that’s more to your liking then. i find that those videos glance over important things in the rooms and much prefer the longer form videos.
This place was our absolute favorite and most cherished spot for dinner...that was before the pandemic....after the pandemic, almost everything changed for the worse....higher prices, extremely lower food and preperation quality....went 2x after the pandemic because I thought maybe they were just slipping...both times were exactly as described in this video....sad that all good things must end...but im glad i had a chance to go there many times during its prime
That’s what I’ve heard. I’ve also heard that when ‘Ohana reopened, the kitchen staff from Spirit of Aloha joined them, and we all know how terrible SoA food was
Thank you so much for your honesty. I feel like most youtubers are not being honest. I went to boatwright the other day and had a similar experience. The food is bland with no flavor.
We wouldn’t make a review if it wasn’t honest! I’m surprised about Boatwright’s since it seems to have improved drastically in the past few years. Thanks for watching!
Dang. Tough review but I appreciate the honesty. I’m going for the first time in July and now I’m glad I have free dining credits because $60 is super expensive period.
$60 is worth it at some places on property, just not here. Honesty is the name of the game when it comes to our reviews, otherwise why bother reviewing it
I thought you did an excellent job with the review of all the dishes. I like how you gave information, did a description, then offered each of your opinions. Very well done!
Lol My husband opened O'Hana as a server. In the elevator was a huge ad with his picture and my kids would always point and say There's daddy! Confusing anyone in the elevator with us. I love O'Hana!! Aloha!!!!
this is so sad 🙈 why do they get so greedy that they know they’ll fill the tables and wreck awesome restaurants?! breakfast wasn’t great on my last visit either. that food presentation has changed massively too!
Glad to have helped! My recommendation would be either Cítricos at Grand Floridian or California Grill at Contemporary. Much better food at a comparable price
I was just there on Sunday. My noodles were also room temp. as a first time visitor to Ohana I was most excited to try the noodles, the temperature was very disappointing.
Agree!!! I don’t understand the O’hana hype. Thank you for helping people not waste their money. Reviewers need to be honest, because these Disney trips are a one in a lifetime trip for many, and constant disappointment should not happen, and let’s not talk about dessert? Crazy😮😂😵
In my opinion, Boulder Ridge is my favorite of the 2. The rooms can be similar to some degree, but Boulder Ridge has a sense of serenity I haven’t found anywhere else on WDW property. The Copper Creek rooms are in the main Wilderness Lodge building, which I found to be very loud. We could hear plumbing from other people’s rooms and they were pumping in “nature sounds” for the pool area that we could hear all night long even with the balcony doors shut.
Great video. So I'm guessing they STILL don't allow anyone up front? I still say that the monorail desperately needs to be expanded. They should build a station at Animal Kingdom similar to the one at EPCOT. Granted it's expensive to do it but in the long run it would save tons of money on buses and fuel.
One can only dream. Front cabin riding is not returning to WDW, Florida passed a law essentially making the WDW monorails public transit and therefore guests can no longer be in the cabin while the train is moving. Disneyland’s nose cone riding (front & rear) has not returned post-pandemic. I’m unsure of the reason
